Very high quality, very rugged, has 2 light settings, the high setting looks like a legit 1500 lumens it’s very bright and it reaches out far while lighting up the surrounding area. When installed it looks sleek and well constructed everything fits nice and tight on the rail and button pad functions perfectly switching between the 2 settings. The QD feature is amazing because you can detach the flashlight and use it as a handheld. Overall amazing quality for half the price of Gucci weapon lights. I’m not sure why olight receives so much criticism because all their products are great quality with tons of features for a great price. I own several pistol lights and they all have stood the test of time with over 1000rds thru all of them and i have 1 on a 10mm Glock 20 so if that’s not the ultimate test idk what is. I own many O Light products and have bought many over the years including: obulbs, Odin gl, seeker 3, etc etc. and in general I like olight for the most part. My thoughts are that they are good value for money but not always the pinnacle. For no particular reason it’s been a few years since my last plight purchase. The Odin S, however, has come out in the meantime and when it came to ordering something for my shorter lighter rifle this seemed the obvious choice. This product is in a class of its own and if it’s any indication of things to come from this company it is a welcome sight. The light itself is excellent. It’s far improved over the Odin Mini in terms of power but also is now dual fuel (takes rechargeable or disposable batteries). The matte finish on the outside is new and it looks like it belongs in the ranks of surefire and others. It is SMALL. It really is only a bit bigger than the mini but it is much smaller than my Odin GL and is the perfect size for a compact rifle. They have improved the pressure pad design over the last couple years and it now locks instead of just being magnetic. I think the most important part is that the attention to detail for the end user is top tier. They include different lengths of screws this time, nice tools for install, and tiny zip ties to finish out the install. Usually a new flashlight is a pretty dull affair but I was honestly raving about how impressed I was all day after getting and installing this light. Great work olight. ... show more

Real happy with this light, bright and doesn’t hurt the bank to bad. Love the fact the flash light is quickly removable from the mounting system. Also love the fact the rear connection for pressure plate isn’t just magnetic but also locks in place. Like the design. Didn’t give it five stars because even though it’s a great light it isn’t a top tier light such as a cloud defense, but definitely worth the money ... show more

Tight rail lock up, light is plenty bright. Charging is great design. I haven’t beat this thang up in an all out war situation of coarse. For the money it seems to be quality. Buttons functions well on mine.
