So I use the Opax shampoo today and I love it. A little bit does go a long way. The scent is mellow. It’s not overpowering. It lathered up beautifully and it made my hair feel great. So, I'm late to the Olaplex party. I've used every other bonding product under the sun, but for whatever reason balked at Olaplex, even though it is not more expensive than some of the others (looking at you, Redken). But out of sheer desperation and unhappiness with the results of other products (again, Redken specifically, but also Pantene, Bold Uniq, etc.), I decided to give Olaplex a shot. Holy moly am I impressed!! For reference, my hair is very thin, finer than angel hair (if such a thing existed), and highly prone to breakage and damage. But I hate my natural color (makes me look washed out) and have been highlighting for decades. Then throw in a couple of years of having sew-in extensions that ripped out soooooo much of my real hair and did so much damage and I am now where I am with extremely fragile hair and not much of it. Side-bar - to all the boys and girls looking at getting extensions, get a halo!!!! They are THE best and the least damaging to your real hair. They seriously only take 1-2 minutes to put in. Do NOT get the semi-permanent kind. It will jack your hair from here to eternity. So in a last-ditch effort to heal my badly damaged hair, I bought Olaplex O, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 9 and OH MY GOD my hair looks and feels amazing!!! It's soft and flowy and bouncy and shiny. I have NEVER been more impressed with a line of hair care products in my life. Of the six products that I bought, the only one I am unlikely to repurchase is the No. 0. I'm not finding that it makes much of a difference for me but the rest have completely turned my hair around. The shampoo is super moisturizing and feels so luxurious. And a little goes a very long way too. The bottle is going to last a while. I only need to use a fraction of what I did before with other shampoos. Same with the conditioner. The bonding oil (No. 7) is also out of this world. I add a little to my damp hair after applying the No. 9 bond protector serum and my hair feels so soft and silky after blow drying and curling. I could go on, but it's probably clear if you've read to this point that I am an Olaplex convert and beyond thrilled with the results of these products. If your hair is fragile, fried, and damaged seemingly beyond repair, it's definitely worth giving this product line a shot. My only regret is that I waited so long!!! ... show more

This is the holy grail of hair products. I am in my late 40s and have thin, dry, color damaged hair. My hair has been frizzy and I could only wear a ponytail and even in that it would become a tangled rat mess. I have tried 100s of dollars in products from Keratin hair treatments, Aveda products, Nexus, Pantene, Its a 10, blowouts EVERYTHING under the sun and nothing was working. I was ready to shave my head and start over. Then I found this and read soooo many reviews and said shoot all I have to lose is more money. So for my fine, thin, color/highlighted damaged hair I got the 4/5 shampoo and conditioner, weightless nourishing mask,#3 Bond building hair and the #9 Bond Protector. My hair is now SOOOFFFTTT, not frizzy even when it is humid out (I live in the desert) so not many humid days until recently. This is all in just 3 days!!! Day one I used the Shampoo and Hair mask with already noticeable difference, Day 2 and 3 I used only the shampoo and conditioner. I started with the small bottles at $30 each and I am so far very pleased and plan on once I run out getting the larger bottles. I will tell you that you need a very very small amount of shampoo, it goes a LONG ways. The conditioner maybe a nickel size amount as it also goes a long ways. When I first used this and was done rinsing my hair, it did not feel soft and I was thinking okay I am going to not have fun brushing my wet hair and it was going to be a waste of money. Boy I was fooled. even though my hair did not feel soft and slick after conditioning, the wet brush I use as always just glided thru my hair with such ease. I was like oh okay and then once I dried it I was completely shocked at the difference the first wash alone had made. There were no tangles and the entire day my hair has been smooth, soft and manageable! I say take your chance and get this product, I hope you are as happy as I am with this. I plan on tossing every other hair product away now that this is the only thing that genuinely works for my hair in a way that I have never experienced with a hair product before. ... show more
