The one reason I brought it was for the nonslip backing. On my tile floors it slips all over the place, so now I have to invest in some type of gripper. Had I received this in time to return it I would have.

I ordered these stools to be used specifically with an island table, and they were the perfect height. I love the velvet texture, as it makes it easier to clean. I have a cat who likes to sit on these, and leaves his hair behind, but it's super easy to brush off. The stools are sturdy and very comfortable. Honestly a really great chair it's comfortable and easy to put together (15min each). I wish I'd paid more attention to the fabric though since it looks leather in the photos. I would have bought a different color had I known but the covers are removable although I don't know how you would without having to unscrew the chair. But overall it's very sturdy and comfortable I'm satisfied ... show more
