Used to change transmission fluid (ATF) which was fairly straight forward. Worked well and much easier than hand pumps. However once I switched to changing differential oil (75W-140) the pump slowed way down for about one minute and then became a blue smoke generator and seized to function. So this device may last a long time with water-like fluids but not recommended for anything heavier.

I've only used it twice, once for a push mower the other a pressure washer. Both have drain plugs underneath the engine. The pressure washer pump actually covers the plug on its motor. I never did like tipping them over to use the oil inlet so, after many years of setting it on a 'table', this pump, once set up, took less than a minute to remove the oil. Ran some clean oil through it and stored. New oil changes coming soon so, hope it still works.

The media could not be loaded. My dad used it to get transmission fluid out of his 60 chevy. This is the 4th one we have bought. He used the others continously and burned out the motor but he said it was still worth $20 to not have to do it any other way and to not get transmission fluid on himself. We are happy with the product and if we burn this one out we will probably get another if we need to do something like this again. See the video I attached to watch it in action with the transmission fluid. We used a 5 gallon bucket to catch the fluid. It's small and light weight, easy to hook up, not the most durable thing ever but for the price it's worth it.

this is a great little pump!! I use it to pump out anything that is liquids. the pump is self priming and it pumps at a decent rate.

Works ok, I did use it to transfer differential fluid, its not really recommended for that. Very slow, took almost an hour to transfer 2 quarts. But it did extract the old fluid out of the rear dif. through the fill hole!!

Easy to use. I used it to suck out the old transmission fluid in my SUV. It took a few minutes, and I only had to reconnect the hoses again in the opposite order (intake and outake valve) for the new ATF. No problems!

I purchased this pump several days ago, planning to use it for important maintenance on my car. Although it initially seemed to be of good quality, when I finally used it today, it was a big disappointment. The pump overheated very quickly and was unable to complete the job I needed. I ended up wasting time and had to find an alternative solution at the last minute. I expected much better performance, especially from a brand-new product with good reviews. I would not recommend this pump if you need something reliable for real work.
