I purchased this product as part of an advertising promotion, so I will compare it to that. Heats up in 3 seconds: yes this product can go from cold to full temp in almost no time. 8 hour timer: I have not used this product for a full 8 hours, but the timer feature is cool if you want to heat up a room that you will use later. I use this feature to heat my sunroom ahead of time before hanging out in there. Widespread oscillation: if you put it in a corner, the heater will swing almost 90°, which is nice, but the fan will only push hot air about 3 feet before the heat just ends up rising. Tip over protection: I've seen this feature on a few heaters; it makes sure your heater doesn't fall onto the floor and start a fire. I tested the feature and it works, so that's all you can ask for. Overall this heater is nice and has a few cool features, my favorite being it's built in thermometer. It's nice to get a temperature reading in different rooms, if not just to see where your home furnace is lacking, but also to help me measure if this product is working effectively. My biggest complaint with this and many electric heaters is lack of power in the fan. Without the ability to really push hot air around a room, your heater will be working inefficiently from the get-go and will have trouble heating a room quickly. ... show more

Love it so much! This heater is excellent. I bought this 3 weeks ago, and now it still works great. I put it beside my TV, and this little heater could warm up my whole living room. Once I turned on the power, it could genuinely quickly heat up. Every time I came back from work, I opened it and changed my clothes. When I finished it, the temperature of the living room was just right. It’s so comfortable to have a rest on our sofa with the temp. Pros: - It heats up very quickly, as I mentioned, and you can set the timer to help you turn off the heater. - It has 3 heating levels, and you can set the mode according to your demand. And I think these 3 modes can meet most of our requirements in our life. -The ceramic heating element has no burnt smell when heating, and it can also help to save some electricity fees. -The 70° oscillation function usually is wild enough for me. When my friend came to my house, everyone could blow by the warm wind. -A control remote can bring a lot of conveniences. -Tip-over protection is a reliable safety guarantee for me. My Husky is so naughty that he always knocked over the heater. Thanks to this feature, it could be avoided due to some danger. Cons -if it has some other color choice, it will be perfect. This was a good buy for my family and myself. I'm trying to be prepared for the cold days and I believe I made a good choice. Our basement is our most liveable space and it gets chilly down there. Our current space heater which we enjoyed is going out. I bought a space heater last year that is just cute. I was so disappointed in the level of heat from the cute space heater. Cute doesn't keep us warm. I did a little research and read reviews to try to find the right space heater. We LOVE THIS HEATER! Though its not cold yet the heat was blowing out so strong. This lightweight heater is a heavy weight in its heat output. It is just what we needed. It has great options. The remote comes with a battery which is GREAT! The temperature can adjust up to I believe 90 degrees. I had it on 80 and had to turn it down. It oscillates and has a timer to turn off automatically. What more could you want in a heater. Personally, this heater is great in all respects except one and that is the fan is too weak for my purposes. In all fairness, I do have it in a large room so I don't expect it to make that room toasty warm but I have to sit pretty close to it in order to get the chill off. If the fan was much stronger, I do believe it would be more than adequate for my purpose! I am 82 years old so these heaters help to keep these old bones warm! I do have other heaters, even smaller but with stronger fans and do a better job because of this. I will keep this heater and use it in a smaller area. I would recommend it because my situation is unique and it's other features perform as advertised and very silently, too! Anyhow, this is my personal experience and as other reviewers have claimed, it warms up their rooms. ... show more

Purchased the heater for my Mom who is elderly & lives in an older, drafty home. The remote control was a great feature which eliminates the need to get up & down to change settings. The oscillation feature was also a plus & the unit's footprint is quite small. It's light-weight & would have been very easy for her to move around with the built-in handle. The safety features, particularly the auto off if the unit is tipped, & the timer made me feel that this would be perfect for her. However, I misjudged the size of the room since it has higher than average ceilings & after reading about it more, determined that this unit is a bit too small for her needs. Unfortunately I will have to return it & look for one more suitable for her room size. But it seems that this heater has everything you'd want for a smaller space. ... show more

Use it for my room and it heats it up well. My only complaint would be that it could use more in the way of instructions regarding what each light is for on the unit. It has a swirl looking design that lights up at 69 degrees I believe, a sun symbol around 73 degrees, then a larger sun symbol at 75 degrees. Not sure if these can be preset. In any case it is not that big of a deal and I am still happy with the purchase. I am sure it would work well for a living room but would not depend on it for a whole floor of a house. ... show more
