[UPDATED] - scroll to bottom - Like everything else I buy I read all of the positive and negative reviews before pulling the trigger on this chair. It arrived today and I immediately began assembly. It comes in a sizeable box that is fairly heavy, especially if you have to carry it up stairs. The assembly instructions are basic, no-frills pictures. I didn't have any issues deciphering them unlike some of the folks that left negative feedback. It comes with a short t-handle allan wrench but It helps if you have a cordless driver/drill with an allan key bit or at least longer t-handle allen wrenche. Assembly took almost exactly an hour but I wasn't rushing. The only "gripe" I had about the assembly was mounting the back of the chair to the bracket that connects to the seat. There is a velcro flap on the rear of the seat back that conceals the bracket once assembly is completed. Trying to balance the seat back, hold the flap up so you can see to align the holes, aligning the screws into the threaded inserts -essentially by feel alone- was a bit cumbersome. To be fair the manufacture recommends two people assemble it so that's on me. I should have waited for my wife to get home but patience isn't my strong suit. Once assembled it's a good looking chair. Comfortable too! The controls aren't difficult like some reviewers have claimed but there is a small learning curve. Instead of using the casters that came with the chair I opted to buy the "rollerblade-style" casters. They work a LITTLE better on carpet than the OEM casters. The only real "negative" I would point out is the leg/foot rest. Honestly they should have either made it more robust or simply removed it from the design. It feels weak and doesn't extend far enough from the chair to be effective for taller people. I'm 6'1" and the leg rest catches me right behind the knees; not the most comfortable positioning. Also, it doesn't feel like it could handle any additional downward pressure other than the weight of one's legs. In my case -being the bigger guy that I am- I don't trust it will hold the weight of my legs for very long before the brackets bend or completely pull the screws out of the mounts under the seat. All-in-all that's really the only "negative" feature about this chair. I gave it 4 stars for the aforementioned reasons, but that also includes not having it long enough to see how it will hold up under daily use. I will update this review if/when necessary. [UPDATE] - Had this chair for about 5 weeks and it's holding up just fine. It's comfortable for extended sitting time, easily adjusts to preference, very roomy, and pretty robust. My only beef is with the aftermarket rollerblade-style casters I put on it. They don't roll any better that the OEM casters on carpet. Might work great on shorter pile carpet, but on medium pile not so much. I'm going to have to invest in one of those plastic carpet covers. To clarify, that isn't a reflection on the chair itself. Overall I am very pleased with this chair and have changed my review to 5 Stars. If I can remember to do so I will update this review at the one-year point.

I've been using this chair for work, and I'm genuinely impressed with how comfortable it is. I spend many hours at my desk every day, and it provides excellent support for my back and shoulders. Assembly was straightforward, and all the parts fit together well. The chair feels sturdy, the leather looks nice, and the cushioning is thick without being too soft. I also love the reclining feature and the footrest—it makes taking short breaks much more comfortable. The chair looks much more expensive than it actually is, and it's a great combination of comfort, functionality, and value. If you work from home, game, or simply spend a lot of time sitting at your desk, I definitely recommend this chair. It's one of the best purchases I've made for my home office.

This is a very well built chair that is very comfortable. However, the spring is so noisy that my wife is making me get a different chair given my home office is in my bedroom. I attempted to contact support and was told to put WD-40 on it, which I did, and it just made zero difference. If it weren't for having such a loud, squeaky spring, I would given this chair a 4-out-of-5. Other than the insanely squeaky spring, the locking points during recline are just kind of funky. The first one is barely reclining at all. The second one is not much better. And the next one, I feel like I'm practically laying down. The footrest is great. Very comfy and folds away easily. When I put my feet up, the chair constantly rotates to the right about 90 degrees making it very difficult to study/watch videos, etc. ===== Update: customer support took my request and sent me all replacement parts in just a few days. It no longer squeaks. After the replacement, the chair no longer rotates when I put my feet up, as well.

It's not what I expected in quality. Overall it's decent, but for about $100 more you could get a lot nicer. Pros: It is fairly comfortable. Cons: Arm rests are wobbly. It has that cheap fake leather look and feel. Not the high gloss look of real leather or even higher fake leather. Instructions are not super clear, but it's not that complicated to install. I recommend spending $100 more and getting higher quality chair with larger rubber wheels. the short plastic wheels are harder to move around in a seated position.

I haven't left a review in a while. I wanted to for this one though. So I actually bought two of these chairs. This is the second one. I've gone through a few different office chairs at this point. The fact that I bought a second one for my home should say something. My wife and I both love the chairs. One thing I did notice is that the light brown colored one is slightly more plush than the green one. I bought a green one and the light brown one. The green one seems more firm but also very comfortable. It's not like the green one has no padding it's like the padding is just more firm. I actually like the green one a lot too. I like it for gaming. Supports my lower back without feeling like I'm sinking into a couch. I've had an actual gaming chair before too and it was trash. I'm glad I went with like a more luxury office chair. I like them both though. I weigh 230 pounds and I'm 6 foot three. The chair seems to hold me very well. I've had the green one for a few months now. I've had this light brown one for a few weeks now and I also really really like it. My wife and i use them both. I'm happy with the purchase. Thanks

I would sit in this chair about 20(ish) hours a week to work at my desk. The Bad: The footrest cushion is so big that when attached to the chair it won't slide completely under the chair as the pictures show. so the cushion and railing is sticking out past the chair even when retracted. That put my lets in an unnatural sitting position so they keep falling asleep(at least for me) The arm rests: once in place you cannot adjust them without loosening three screws for each rest. The UGLY: The back support is non-existent. The chair comes with a small detached pillow you are supposed to use for lower back support. The problem is it keeps moving, you have to reset the pillow anytime you get up or move. I used the chair for about a week and my back is sore and hurting from sitting in the chair. the chair is a nice black leather, but it doesn't breathe, so your back will sweat. I bought this chair to save money as it was cheaper than many of the other better chairs. You get what you pay for. Lesson learned.

Loved this chair so much I ordered a second one. The second one was missing an armrest, so I contacted their customer service to get the missing part shipped to me. They were super quick with their response and super friendly, making sure I got everything set up. It really turned a frustrating experience around on its head. The chair itself is great. My only critique is I wish the leg rest extended another couple of inches. But besides that, all is good. Sturdy and durable material.

Went together easily, and instructions were decent but very small print. For a "big and tall" chair it sure sits low to the ground and I'm only 6' tall. At full lift the bottom of the seat is 15" from the ground; my previous chair was about 20". The seat cushion has a tilt to the left, which is annoying because if I recline it tries to turn to the left on it's own unless I prop my toe against the bottom of my desk. The arm rests have some play to them which annoys my ADHD and 'tism. The "lumbar pillow" is too big to sit behind my back, but works pretty nicely as a pillow for my neck. The footrest does not lock in place at all (a small detent would be nice) so every time you turn the chair the footrest slides out a bit. I tried emailing the company three times with a week in between each email...zero responses. I was hoping to get a response and maybe a fix before leaving this review, but no such luck. Overall, it's okay. It's not he most comfortable seat (my previous $99 Serta office chair I got from Walmart was more comfortable), but now I'm stuck with it as I couldn't ever get a response about how to return this and now it's been almost a month.
