I like this chair however I wish it had a few more perks such as: there are no locks on the wheels so sometimes sitting down it scoots away from you. Although I can adjust the height so that my feet reach the floor (I'm 5'¾") the seat itself dips down at the back and knees are then raised. I have to sit forward in the chair to have feet securely on the floor. Otherwise it's a good chair if you're taller..perhaps. Quite difficult to take apart and return so I'l have to put a pillow at the back of the seat. UPdate: this company's service was so good.! They saw this review and wrote back to me right away apologizing. They were grateful for the feedback and They gave suggestions on using a mat under the chair so it would not roll so easy. They gave me a partial refund to buy a pillow suitable concerning the dip in the back of the seat. They have many chairs to choose from and I carefully tried to choose the best one for myself. Even though the chair is not perfect I have updated the 'stars' because the company itself is so considerate and kind. ... show more

I’ve had this chair for about a month now, and it’s great! I chose it because I needed a chair my cats wouldn’t scratch up, and they haven’t lol. The chair has good dimensions, so I can sit criss cross on it if I want to, especially since the arms fold up. The height is adjustable and so is the “lean” on it. It’s pretty comfy- I weigh 135lbs and I’m 5’3”. I can sit comfortably for hours with no problems. There are comfier chairs out there of course but for the price I appreciate the value I’m getting out of this chair. It was also pretty easy to assemble, but you might need an extra pair of hands to help you out, especially with the wheels. All in all a good deal 👍 ... show more

This chair was a wonderful comfort to me all through the pandemic but in summer 2023 I noticed the gas lift had failed and the height wasn’t staying put. So I bought another chair, same price range, same type (so I thought!) but soon after starting to use it my back started to hurt. I brought the old one out again and contacted Hylone to ask if I could buy a new piston or assembly, and explained the situation and how much I missed my wonderful chair. They were amazing. They told me the piston shouldn’t have failed and climbed over themselves to make it right for me. We all know that this doesn’t happen very often these days!! All they asked from me were a few photos so that they could identify the failed part. So if you’re considering a new chair, I say with hand on heart - buy Hylone, you won’t regret it. The chair is of good quality for the price. It's very comfortable. It's a little tricky assembling the arms to the seat but not that difficult if you follow the instructions. I especially like that the arms fold up so that I can tuck the chair under my desk to save space.

The chair is beautiful and feels very solid. The seat is nice and big. However, it wasn't ergonomically right for me. The neutral position of the seat is reclined, rather than flat/horizontal. The back did not move forward at all, only reclined backwards. That meant that I had to lean forward to work at my desk, and my knees were higher than my butt. This would probably be a good chair for gaming with a controller, but that's not what I needed it for, so I returned it. That's a shame because it was otherwise comfortable and cute. ... show more
