First off I wanna say I am 379 pounds and I feel supported in this year. I was in recovery for a sore back from shoveling snow and this chair helped align me properly I needed something sturdy that was gonna be comfortable and this fulfilled everything it’s comfort is reliable and consistent. If I added anything, it would be another seat pad to further support because it is so wide it was relatively easy to assemble. I struggled for a moment on the arms to the mechanism underneath the seat I would recommend doing one arm first doing the bottom and then doing the other arm it matches my desk and I’m very pleased with the purchase baseline pull the trigger and make the purchase for the price point. I have a desk job, sitting for the most part for 8 hours a day. I'm tall (for a woman, but not excessively ~ 5'11) and have been having undiagnosed problems with one of my knees; sitting has become really hard on that knee. I was hopeful this chair would help, but I've been very disappointed. It feels like the seat "leans left" ~ even though it's perfectly straight. It also feels like the seat tips down in the front ~ which is the worst thing for my knee issue. Ordering a chair with a greater weight capacity, I was hoping for something that would feel more "heavy duty", but I don't see or feel that. I also wish it sat higher, my legs are very uncomfortable and the "angle" my knees are it makes them feel worse. Granted I have long legs, but even so. It reclines ok, I just never do. It looks ok in my office, but I value "comfort" over "looks" in just about everything so it doesn't win any love there. Yeah, you get what you pay for. I just can't stomach the idea of spending 4-5x or more to take a chair to my job. If you're a petite little thing, go for it; if you're taller, have knee issues, are a heavier person, etc- then I would say keep looking. This chair is not well made. The wheels don't turn freely when rolling across laminate floor. When I leaned back it broke. I weigh 230 lbs. This chair should be able to hold me when I lean back. Not worth the money at all. I have only had it just over a month.
