I can't personally recommend this chair, it only lasted for about a month for me and I'm about half the rated weight for it. The adjustability was nice, it was somewhat comfortable, but within a few weeks of using it while reclining it started to make cracking noises. What I can only assume to be the wood base had begun to splinter and I've stopped using the reclining feature until a replacement chair arrives. I would have given this chair 5 stars but for a few problems. Nothing really serious but aggravating. First the good part. The chair looked like what I needed and the price was great. When I received the package and unpacked everything nothing was missing and everything was clearly labeled. The quality of materials and workmanship was good for the price point and entirely acceptable for the intended use. One thing I really liked was the T-handle hex wrench that was included. Much better and easier to use than the usual small allen wench that you find with most items that need assembly. Assembly went fine and I had most everything done in under an hour. This is where it started to get aggravating. Now for the not so good parts. The instructions were not the best. For the most part they could be followed as long as you were careful to double check the parts and placement. Where they were poor was in steps 4, 5, 7 and 9. The drawings were not real clear on what had to be done. Took some trial and error to get things right. These instructions would really benefit with some written directions and better illustrations. Last but not least the makers quality control could use some improvement. Nothing to serious but some of the bolts needed to be screwed in and out a few time to clean up the threads, one hole in the cloth cover where an attachment point was was off a bit and required some work with scissors to correct. Finally the last step when I went to attach the head rest it would not line up. After looking over the problem it finally dawned on me that the bracket that attaches to the chair back was put on the head rest upside down. Once that was corrected it went right on. I like the chair, the price was very good and it went together ok. If more attention had been paid to the instruction and quality control this would be a 5 star review. ... show more

This chair has pleasantly surprised me. It’s very comfortable even after spending several hours working at my desk. The high back with lumbar support helps maintain good posture and reduces back fatigue. I like that you can adjust the height, recline the back, and fold the armrests to save space. I got the high back chair for my office I also game in. I wanted a “normal” looking chair not a gaming chair that is comfortable & swivels so I can pet my dogs whenever they are there. The high back gave my head a resting place. This chair was easy to build & after a week I find it comfortable & sturdy. The high back is the perfect height to rest my head back & the arms are at a good height & length. The wheels allow me to pull the chair out & move seamlessly.     • Good but very noisy and annoying
I'm really disappointed with this high-back brown chair. From the moment I received it, I noticed an issue, every time I recline or adjust myself on the chair, it makes irritating and very annoying noises, like the base seat is rubbing against the backrest or the reclining. The constant clinking completely ruins the comfort and experience, and I would not recommend it unless this issue is resolved. ... show more

I do not think the quality is very good. Here are the issues. 1. The casters get stuck on a plastic chair mat. They get crossed because they dont swivel well and thus you wind up "Dragging them" 2. The arm rest material is rough which is abrasive to your arms after along day. Imagine the feel of a burlap sack on your forearms all day long. 3. It just feels like its not going to last. you know how when you are in something you think... its working now , but will it in 6 months... a year? I am 240 lbs. So i purchase a chair that can support 90 more pounds than me... My gut feeling.. Its not going to make it. ... show more
