I bought a cheapo (but cute) little chair from Homegoods and the wheels were garbage. They kept snapping apart and finally broke. The chair was still functional but I was hitting a lean in that thang even when I wasn't feeling super gangster. I came across these 🛞 and was immediately taken back to the early '90s skating rink beats and I knew right then that these were the ones. They came overnight (no thanks to the local Amazon facility they built in my city but don't utilize.. weird .. but probably because they came from the Dallas distribution center. Everyone knows Texas is baller compared to Louisiana anyways). I installed these with ease and asked my husband to push me as fast as he could around the house so I could get the full effect. These things are like lightning and I'm here for it! I was zooming so fast that I hit a wall and now need some drywall work done but man, it was worth it! 10/10 recommend!!! Side note: works well on carpet but can't zoom as fast.

These casters are awesome!!! My desk chair has never rolled on our modern laminate floor more smoothly. My $300 desk chair came with standard-grade casters that gunked up with sewing thread trimmings and debris. They were noisy and required force to move around, and without any guilt I tossed them directly into the trash can when these new casters arrived. With these new double-wheel casters I can easily (and quietly) glide across my office floor. These were well-priced and easily installed. I am now ordering a second set for my taller chair that I use at my sewing and craft table. Michael Leavitt - Orem, Utah Edit: 10/17/2023 - I am now installing these on my taller chair and opted to order a similar taller single-wheel model caster set featuring dual locks for my primary desk chair. I decided that I wanted to see if locks were necessary for my primary chair due to the fact that these wheels roll so incredibly smoothly on the floor. Locks are something that were never needed with my high friction, slow rolling, stock casters.

So, I have suffered a saga involving these wheels which is not entirely their fault, but their shortness figures in. I installed them on a new office chair base, but the gas cylinder poking through the chair's base could actually touch the floor because these wheels are so short and the base was not angled very steeply - I am also very heavy, which didn't help, but the base and the gas cylinder were rated for 1,000 lbs and I ain't that heavy! In any event, I would only recommend using these wheels if your chair has a base that angles down between where the cylinder sits to where the casters socket in of at least three or four inches difference in elevation unless you are hummingbird-light. Installing them was easy, as was removing them since I had to swap them to two other chair bases. They are visually attractive and they are quite quiet on a tiled floor, much less noisy than my previous hard plastic casters.

Tired of getting a workout just trying to roll four inches to the side of your desk? Do you wish you could zoom from side to side of your office? Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moon light? If your answer to any of these questions is yes, then I highly recommend these wheels. I purchased them for my father. They are a little lower profile than I was expecting, but even with pictures it can be hard to tell what the profile will be. Both he and I are happy with these wheels. A great purchase. If anything changes, I'll update the review.

These casters are super strong, very stylish, and very effective. They might even be too effective! I say too effective because they roll better than the casters that will come with your typical task chair or office chair. So be prepared to brace yourself if you sit down and your chair suddenly tries to get away from you. It's not because of any kind of defect, it's because these casters are so good, and they are super quiet. In fact, they're quietness is one of the best features. These are super high quality casters, that you will not regret purchasing or using, especially if you bought a heavy duty chair, and you don't want to damage your floors.

I replaced the hard plastic wheels on an adjustable overbed table. These new wheels are MUCH smoother and quieter. I had to pull the 5/16 x 5e/16 stems out of the old wheels and replace the 7/16 x 5/16 stems the new wheels cam with but that's not a big problem if you have access to a vise and a hammer.
