After starting to work remotely I bought a desk chair a Bayside Furnishings desk chair at Costco. The chair has been great, but a couple of the caster wheels came apart, probably because I have carpeting in my office. Bayside sent me a replacement for the first one, but not the second. I bought these caster wheels and they fit perfectly, they seem to be the exact same wheel.

The casters that came with my new office chair were hard plastic and were starting to wear down the finish on the hardwood floor in my home office. I bought these as their wheels are of a softer material that will hopefully stop that from continuing. Time will tell in that but they are indeed quieter as the chair rolls across the floor.

i was suckered into spending $30 on a set of those rollerblade wheel casters because everyone said they are so good for hardwood floors. yeah, TOO good, i was rolling backwards at the slightest movement, i couldn't work with my feet planted on the ground without slowly gliding away from my desk. so thinking i was clever, i gave those to my partner and bought myself another $30 set of the rollerblade wheels this time with little stoppers/brakes on them. i was a fool!! they were even worse, now i had to stay perfectly stationary, and it kind of hurt my bare foot a number of times when i'd bang into the hard weird plastic edges. meanwhile, this perfect product was waiting for me, costing a fraction of the price. they have changed my life entirely. i can't stop thinking about how good they are. they have a perfectly tuned resistance: i move when i want to and don't when i don't. i swear they must have just manufactured way too many rollerblade wheels when that seemed like it would never go out of style, and people are stuck with so many of them they have to unload they convinced us they would make good office chair wheels. well i'm not falling for it anymore! for years i suffered. take back your power by getting these wheels instead!

BA - Before Amazon, I would have had to look all over locally to try and find wheel casters for an otherwise fine office chair except for the wheels. I wouldn't have found any wheels and would have either lived with a unstable chair or pitched the entire chair. Now with Amazon, I can find a replace set of wheels and they fit perfectly. No mess, no fuss. These fit our chairs and we can keep on moving. Thanks Amazon for making our lives easier.
