Description

Even though the battery is fully charged and the scooter is powered on, it still won't start moving. This occurs because the product is currently in assistance start mode.You must first use your foot to assist the scooter, bringing its speed to 3 km/h before pressing the throttle. The product will then move normally. How do I fold the scooter? Slide the handlebar locking latch in the direction of the arrow to fold the handlebars.Pull out the silver locking pin on the scooter, pull out the orange folding lever, and press the black folding latch on the side to fold the body. What should I do if the handlebar wobbles and the locking latch feels loose after receiving the scooter? After adjusting the handlebar to your desired height, turn the locking latch outward a few times until you feel resistance, then lock it in place. Ordered this scooter for a family trip that we were taking in a week. The scooter came fairly quick. Took it out of the box and it "appeared" to be a new scooter. While assembling I noticed that one of the latches that collapse the scooter was slightly scratched as if it was used before. Not a big deal, but very suspicious for being a "new" scooter. Charged it and went through the set up, as soon as I started to accelerate, I noticed a very loud grumbling sound, like what a motorcycle would make coming from the rear tire area, and it seemed to prevent it from reaching anything over 10mph. I thought something may have been scraping or caught in the wheel well so I inspected and couldn't see anything. I contacted their customer service and since they are located in China didn't receive a response until the next day. I explained the issue and the short time I had before leaving on my trip and needed this issue resolved immediately, or needed a replacement scooter or a refund to purchase another one. Their email customer service rep had me check multiple different functions on the scooter, send in videos, and kept this back and forth email for 4 days, completely ignoring my request that I didn't have days to spend doing this. After 4 days of troubleshooting with them, they asked me to take apart the rear disc break caliber and inspect that. A big nope.. If I purchase a brand new product, I should not have spend days troubleshooting and certainly not have to take it apart to figure out the issue. They do not want to refund me or replace the item until I do all these things. I am now dealing with Amazon's customer service since I cannot get a refund through Amazon. Currently I am being asked by Amazon to ship this item back (pay for the cost of shipping which is going to be outrageous since its a huge scooter). Absolute nightmare. Stay aware from this product and company! :Update: After calling Amazon customer service, Amazon thankfully refunded me since the seller suddenly stopped responding to my emails. A note to take in consideration, nothing on this scooter is universal so finding parts for this is also impossible. If anything were to break and you need to find parts to replace... happy hunting!!! Probably one of the worst purchases made to date. I (and you) should stick to products that have many reviews and not "take a shot" on items that have little to no reviews. Does not have a max speed of 30mph. It will only register at 30 mph if you change the tire size in settings to the incorrect tire size as it comes in package to fool you into thinking its actually going that fast. Using a gos device to see if it was right ahowed an actual max speed of 25 mph. Whet aet at the correct tire size it register 25 mph and gos shows 23-24 so only a little difference but it came with the tire size in settings on 14 inches which makes it register way off in order to trick you into thinking it will actually move 30-31 mph. Also the torque is very low so it is very slow to take off ince you press the acceleration button. Not what i expected and not worth the money considering i bought another electric scooter for only $193 that has an actual max speed of 28 mph and takes off the instant you press acceleration button. Also very hard to fold handle bars back down after initial set up. I have only been able to make the left one fold since day one. If i didnt have to pay an outrageous shipping fee to return it it would have been returned already but now its just folded up in a corner as a reminder of how easily you can waste $400+ on false advertising. ... show more

To be honest the only good thing about this scooter is the price. For me it only goes up to 16 mph which is below the advertised 19 mph (for reference i weigh 170 lbs). The description says you can increase it to 22 mph in the app but when I try that it just resets to the standard speed. The headlight is fairly dim at about 125 lumens. The colored LED lights cannot be customized or turned off independently from the headlight - turning on the headlight turns on the LEDs which flash-cycle between red/blue/green. The bell doesnt have a button, just a spring latch that needs to be flicked with your thumb. The latch that locks the steering column in place is plastic. The joint is held together by a small connecting piece with two very shallow insertions and is held in place and tightened by a single screw. You must tighten this screw before riding the scooter or it will loosen the stem and eventually break which can be very dangerous while riding. The actual screws are soft and strip easily. The battery indicator is delayed and unreliable - It will drop from 5 bars straight to 2. Both battery life and range are lower than advertised. The disk breaks are responsive but squeak, and applying too much force will cause the scooter to drift and lose control. It also accelerates fairly slowly and the speed drops off quickly as the battery goes down. I wish I could give it a better rating because the price is so good, but the scooter suffers too much as a result and you're better off spending a little more for something better. The only reason I can see to get this scooter is if you don't really need one and want to save money. ... show more
