    • Intermittent and Unreliable
This is a cute lighthouse light, but unfortunately the motion sensing has been extremely hit-or-miss for me. I made sure to charge the battery all the way up to make sure that wasn't a problem. Sometimes it will detect the feintest motion from way across the room. Other times I'll wave my hand in front of the sensor and it won't do anything. The moon projection is kind of neat, but it gets HUGE really quickly, so this is meant to be placed relatively close to the wall, or at the very least on a raised surface so that the bottom part of the moon isn't projected onto the table or ground. It also came with a plastic base that doesn't seem to serve any purpose at all. It would have been nice if the base was a charger, and you could move the lighthouse around without a cable plugged into it. Overall the design is nice, but the execution could use some work. ... show more

Absolutely love this lamp! However, it does have a few quirks, so I’m trying to be fair with my rating. BATTERY: So far, it’s great. It took roughly 3 hours to charge, and for about five days, I’ve steadily run it for two hours per night. Still going strong and in no need of a recharge. FUNCTION: - The farther it’s moved from a wall, the bigger the moon. It’s best if you can have it about 2-3 feet away (it’s a little less than 2 ft in my photo). - The motion sensor is iffy. Seems to work better in bright environments (which defeats the point). - You can only turn it on/off via a switch on the back. Really wish it had a remote! QUALITY: While it looks great for a plastic lamp, the moon projector shuts off on mine after approximately 90 minutes (the lighthouse stays lit). I’m unsure if this is intentional or a flaw. I wish it would stay on until turned off, though. PRICE: There seem to be multiple sellers on Amazon selling this, or extremely similar, products. They all go for about $18-20, and to me that’s fair. It also comes with a tiny boat, which is a cute little bonus! But there’s no room for it on the lighthouse base, so it keeps being knocked over/lost lol. ... show more

This is just a cute lighthouse decoration, since I did not receive the remote. They sent me the bag with no remote. I have contacted the company and heard nothing. Amazon did send me a response, but they can’t really do anything about my remote problem. Luckily it’s a cute little lighthouse that can sit on a shelf. ... show more

This light is soft- and the projection of the moon is really large- I find it too large for my wall - there is no possibility of projecting it on my ceiling

This projector is very cute in my kids ocean room. It’s a nice color light, very lightweight, and rechargeable. The auto function is nice. I do wish I could point it at the ceiling, but you can only point it straight ahead. This means that the moon is projected all the way across the room making it the size of the whole wall or turned backwards on the bookcase with a teeny tiny moon. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I love this light! The motion detection is fantastic. I use it in our master bathroom, so at night when you walk in, it lights up the whole room. The moon projection is really impressive as well. I also appreciate the look of the lighthouse design; it has a warm light that glows from the top and illuminates the stairs.
