    • Intermittent and Unreliable
This is a cute lighthouse light, but unfortunately the motion sensing has been extremely hit-or-miss for me. I made sure to charge the battery all the way up to make sure that wasn't a problem. Sometimes it will detect the feintest motion from way across the room. Other times I'll wave my hand in front of the sensor and it won't do anything. The moon projection is kind of neat, but it gets HUGE really quickly, so this is meant to be placed relatively close to the wall, or at the very least on a raised surface so that the bottom part of the moon isn't projected onto the table or ground. It also came with a plastic base that doesn't seem to serve any purpose at all. It would have been nice if the base was a charger, and you could move the lighthouse around without a cable plugged into it. Overall the design is nice, but the execution could use some work. ... show more

I purchased this projector lamp 4 months ago. I didn't care for the writing on the lamp, "Lighthouse" and "Light up the life". It's obviously a lighthouse and the other phrase was also unnecessary; it cheapens the look. But I overlooked that because the projection of the moon was actually nice. Fast forward to 4 months, and the projection isn't as clear; also, there's a halo around the projection of the moon in the shape of the base of the lamp. I contacted the seller, but to-date, I haven't heard back. Based on this experience, I do not recommend. It should have lasted longer than four months. ... show more

This is being given as a gift, and it is absolutely adorable! It's not too big or clunky, it's a perfect size to have subtly displayed. I plugged it in to be sure it worked, and it is so bright and so lovely! I think the recipient will love it!
