This is the second eye supplement that I purchased for my chihuahua. The first one is from same brand but in liquid form. The taste is bad and my dog hates it. She normally eat everything, but not the liquid one. I have to switch to the capsule and sprinkle the power on her food. First time, she is a bit hesitate to eat but the flavor is still okie to her. Now She has no issue on the flavor and will eat her food right away. She got cataract on one eye and start showing some signs of cataract on her good eye. She already on her 4th months of supplement and looks like it’s helping on her eye. The other interesting part is this supplement also helping her itchy skin.     • I think it is slowing my dog's PRA

I did an Embark test on my dog and it revealed that he had two copies of PRA. An ophthalmologist confirmed this diagnosis and Ocu-glo was recommended. The vet said that there wasn't a lot of evidence that this works but that it certainly wouldn't hurt. She said that out of a scale of 1-10 (1 being blind and 10 being perfect) that my dog was a solid 2 and would likely lose his vision in the next couple of months. That was over a month ago and I've noticed he is bumping into objects less and/or his vision remains virtually unchanged. I am cautiously optimistic ... show more

I’m very upset, the pill size is too big, and the “easy administration” instructions… total fail, the powder is so bitter that it ruins the dogs' food and then they don't even want to eat the food or take the pill even with a pill pocket treat. There’s no way to to trick your dog into giving them wrapped in food because the smell is too strong and nasty, I do not recommend it to small dos the pill is huge. ... show more

My dog has cloudy eyes due to Lenticular sclerosis but it’s getting way smaller now. I give this medicine to him only on weekends but I will give him everyday.
