I’ve had a great time using this kit. It’s easy enough, but for a beginner set and the reason I took off a star, is that it doesn’t come with enough thread. I found myself having to steal thread from the other patterns to finish a hoop. The patterns are super cute when completed though!

I am relatively new to embroidery. I like this kit so far because it give you a chance to try out stitches and learn the names. I had few problems (see below) but nothing too major for me. Just cautions for other buyers. 1. The instructions seemed odd and hard to understand at times—like they were translated incorrectly into English. Just search YouTube or google for the stitches. 2. I didn’t get a few of the items in the kit. I was missing the seam ripper, a needle, and the threader. I’m lucky and already had a needle from a previous kit but that would have upset me if I was 100% new to embroidery and was hopping for the supplies to be there. There was a lot of lick of embroidery thread but I digress. 3. The little pink scissors didn’t cut anything. ... show more
