The ONLY reason I could not give this product a 5 star rating is because of the company's "customer service". I have a 9 year old Lab who became a new dog because of Extend. As a matter of fact his vet had put him on Glucosamine Chondroitin but I chose to followup with Extend becuse it sounded like there were more benefits involved. Anyway, Extend is a great product. Riley has been on it for at least the last 7 months. The bad news... DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT DIRECTLY FROM THE COMPANY!!! I did so with an automatic monthly renewal...payment coming directly from my bank account (debit/Mastercard). Last month I realized I was rapidly running out of the product. I assumed the product would come in any day. Nope. So I called the company. THEN they informed me that they had tried to process my credit (debit) card 2 times and it was declined. No one ever informed me of the problem. They were able to give me the dates that the card was declined. At the time I just needed the product for my dog. So I gave them another credit card...an American Express... to get the product to me asap. I was told I was all set and that I would receive the product in 5-7 business days. In the meantime I checked on my checking account balance on the days this company reported that my card was declined and I had over $1000 in the back at the time. After the allotted delivery time...no Extend. So yesterday I called the company. They then informed me that my credit card had been declined! Again no notice of the problem. I called the credit card company and they informed me that they had never received any request for payment from this company and, had they received such a request, there was no reason they would not have honored it. So I called the Extend company back. Because I was "requesting a change in payment options" (according to the customer service rep) I was transfered to a supervisor. I told her I was not requesting a change in payment options...that I wanted to know what was going on. Clearly this was not a problem on my end...it was an issue on their end. I asked her to verify my address including zip code (credit card companies will deny if you have the wrong zip code). Everything was in order. The supervisor tried the card again...and it was declined. I was at a loss! Then she asked me what kind of credit card it was. American Express. To my astonishment she told me they didn't take American Express!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? And no one told me this???? Oh, it gets better... The supervisor asks me for another credit card. I declined this request...primarily because my original credit/debt card was a MasterCard and I had had no issues with this company for MONTHS with just that. So what had changed?? She says the only way to correct the problem was for me to open a new account. I said ok, open a new account. She says...wait for it...I HAVE TO DO THAT ONLINE!!!! That's when I hung up on her. My only regret is that we are now in the cellphone age...and people don't hear the smash of the phone into the receiver. I went out on Amazon...found the product...ordered it with on-clip shopping...got it with overnight delivery...and it was $12 CHEAPER than getting it from the company direct. They were charging me $69.95/month. BTW, did I mention that my 9 year old lab is recovering from the doggie version of a knee replacement? This company left us hanging for a month...and didn't care AT ALL that my dog didn't have their product. ... show more

  • A packet a day has really helped my 70 pound dog!
I have a 70 pound 5.5 year old black lab border collie mix I got as a rescue. My girl was diagnosed with hip dysplasia two weeks ago. My vet gave her melaxocam to help with her pain. I gave my dog the prescription medication for a few days with no real signs of improvement. My dog was still incredibly sore. She would not want to put weight on her right leg and had a hard time sitting or getting up. I dreaded seeing her in pain and suffering. I was trying research what I could do for my dog. I saw a hoky add for this product come up in a YouTube video I was watching. The ad was one of those things that sounded too good to be true, and I easily could have dismissed it. Anyway, I wrote down the product information as I figured I had nothing to lose. Long story short, I read a lot of reviews on this, and they are mostly positive. I decided to take a chance and order this product. I am glad I did. As of today, my dog has been on this for 8 days. My dog can easily get up and sit down. She limps a lot less, and she appears to be feeling a lot better. I am going to keep my dog on this product. I have also done a few other things to help my dog. My dog is drinking a little colloidal silver every day. I also apply DMSO gel around her effected hip. I also started all of those treatments prior to starting Extend. I saw the greatest improvement when I started her on this. Her improvement has also been exponential. However, my dog does appear to get a little stiffer at night as I give her this and her pain pill with her breakfast. Anyway, I bought another glucosamine supplement with hemp oil I just started giving her tonight. I am not giving my dog too much of any of the ingredients as my dog is on the cusp of needing two packets of Extend due to her size. I unfortunately cannot afford to do that with this product which is why I supplement this with Point Pet Hemp Oil Joint Care. Edit: My dog has been on Extend for 11 days and also gets two Point Pet Hemp Oil Joint Care chews a day (Started that 2 days ago). My dog started taking the second supplement two days ago. Anyway, my dog is feeling a lot better. I quit giving my dog her prescription medication a day ago. I also stopped applying DMSO to her sore hip today. My dog has been more active, limping less, and has an easier time getting up/sitting down. My dog is not quite back to being her old self, but she is doing some moderate running, and everyday she does a good 20 minute brisk walk around the dog park while her sister tears around with other dogs. I also forgot to mention that my dog loves the taste of this. All I have to do is sprinkle it over her food. She will lick the bowl clean. Edit 2: This supplement has made a real difference with my dog. My dog has been on Extend for 21 days and the Point Pet for 12 days now. I know the Extend played a significant role in her getting better as I could tell it was helping her a lot within a few days of me starting her on it. Anyway, I am happy to say that my dog is on both of these supplements and nothing else. She is still getting a little better every day. I just have to get my dog to lose a little bit of weight to help take a little stress off of her joints. Getting her to lose weight will be easier to do as she is becoming more active. Edit 3: My dog has been on this and the Point Pet stuff for over a year. She is still doing good. She has an occasional day where she gets sore, but that is usually her fault for overdoing it the previous day. My dog was also able to lose some weight do to her increased activity in conjunction with a slight restriction in dog food. My girl is now right around 60 pounds which also helps her sore hips. ... show more

  • Wow! This stuff really works!
My 6 year old Airedale Terrier has received a Dasequin chew every day of her life with us. About 6 months ago we noticed that she started limping and holding her right paw up more times than not. We took her to the vet twice only to be told it must be arthritis 🤷♀️ her behavior continued but we couldn’t find a resolution for her. I did some research and we decided to give this product a try…boy are we glad we did and so is our dog! I waited a full month of use before reviewing this to be sure it was actually working but it was within a week that we saw marked improvement in our dog. She is now jumping up onto the couch and beds and is truly back to her old self after just 30 days of use. The cost is a bit higher than Dasequin but worth every penny to make my girl feel good and have her mobility back. She gets excited about the little bag of powder being sprinkled on her food and licks the bowl clean so the taste must be good 😋. We are lifelong customers now! Try it, you won’t be disappointed! ... show more

  • This stuff works miracles!!
I have a 75 pound English Springer Spaniel who has two torn AVL’sThe vet wanted a huge amount to fix them so I bought this product which was recommended by a friend. It totally changed his life from carrying his leg to jumping up on our bed, jumping off the dock at the lake, then climbing the ladder like he did before. It’s a little pricy but if it helps my dog I’d do about anything. I have bought SO many products to help which didn’t and I’d have to trick him to eat them, he loves the taste of this and it makes him eat better! I’d give it more stars if I could! ... show more
