Installed on my 2017 Kia Sorento. Installed according to the instructions (far enough back) and you can’t hear any whistle from the wind or anything! We tie a flat dog crate and a cargo bag on top and have traveled from south Florida to North Carolina 6 times. Also tied 4 doors (at separate times) on top. Bars have not moved at all. Only time we heard anything from wind hitting them is when the rubber piece was popped up. We laid it flat and no sound again! We keep the bars on even when not in use. It fits the 2018 Kia Sorento. Remember to unscrew the hidden bolts to adjust the sizing! The Sorento's rails are not parallel so adjustments will be required!

    • Absolutely don't fit
I added my vehicle to Amazon to ensure that my search results got only items that would fit. Well. . .once they arrived and I followed the instructions to a T, one side of each bar wouldn't stay attached to my vehicle. Had to use a ratchet strap to ensure this stayed attached. Wish I could return this junk. ... show more

    • Easy install, not so sturdy
The main use for this product was to load some gear for a trip on top. The install was pretty straight forward but the sturdiness of the product had me in great question. The back run would not move but the front one was very wobbly and for a 8 hour car ride I couldn't risk it. I decided not to use it and had to over stuff my car. Maybe it was user error and I just didnt tighten it down enough (i did try to tighten it for well over a few minutes, made sure to not overdo it either to where I couldnt get it undone). But I will say when another family member used it they had no problems with it. They went on a 4 hour trip and it worked fine for them so maybe it was just my nerves. Hope this helps. ... show more

Lack of instructions led to difficulties in fitting them to my vehicle. Thus the 3. The wind noise at 70 mph is tolerable, at 80 loud. Very stable and for the cost well done.

    • Remove the black strips and loosen the screws. In order to get a proper fit.
Instructions a bit confusing, but once you figure it out easy to install. I got them for our trip to Utah. They were great, sturdy and made the car look more sporty.

    • Disappointed to find out it was clamp on not bolt on
It didnt seem clear in product description that this thing clamps onto your existing roof side rails. On the KIA Sorento there looks to be spots you can pry off the bolt hole covers to gain access so you can bolt crossrails right on.. This product does not take advantage of that. I feel that the clamp on option is not as strong as the bolt-in options. But, this is about $100+ less. This would be fine if you're not looking to haul heavy stuff.
