The media could not be loaded. I have a 2017 Traverse. C channel, make sure you have it. Run your fingers into the existing plastic channel on top of your car that looks like roof railing. If you do not feel a metal grippy lip that catches your finger you do not have C channel. Don't be like me and think you do, purchase this racking system, and then realize that the reviews were right you have to buy the c channel. The racking system itself was fairly easy to install. It did take me I think a couple of hours and my own with a better allen wrench, since the one they sent was pretty small. the instructions aren't all that great and you do have to keep the sliding parts on one side of the vehicle and the stationary parts on the other side of the vehicle, driver and passenger. mine had some missing parts but I messaged Amazon and they replaced it very quickly. Utilized it for a fairly light load on a very long trip and it held just fine. The pieces are mostly plastic covered and are not very quiet but they definitely get the job done for the price we don't want to spend a ton money. I would recommend.

You need two of the long cross rails for a Chevrolet Traverse to make the kit work All kits have a long and short cross rail, but the short cross rail will not fit the rails. I was lucky to buy a open box kit that had parts missing, but had the long and short cross rails. i never sent is back and instead bought a new kit. When I installed the new kit and found the the short cross rail did not fit I was able to use the long cross rail from the open box kit and save the day.

I choose this to fit the a specific car and year but we weren't able to adjust the bars. We had to head out the next day so the bars had to be installed but they were to close to each other.

Great so far, my 09 Traverse already had the side rails on it, just needed these crossbars. I was able to put these right on, took about 20 min to assemble and install. Came with decent instructions. Haven't actually used them yet but they are sturdy enough.

Fit great after I ordered and received the C channels. It would be easier and better to order the whole kit at once and you might even save some dollars.
