It is a beautiful wing paddle at a very economical price. It weighs 28 ounces, two less than advertised and less than my previous wing paddles. (Less weight is better of course). It feels extremely well balanced and has a great catch in the water. Also very secure when bracing. The construction quality and fit between the two halves is perfect. I have paddled a surfski with it about 10 miles so far in both rough and calm conditions.

Its light. the big surface area is effiecient. but it takes time to get used to the best way to paddle it . I almost sent it back . If you don't use it a bunch , you may not figure out the best stroke angle etc.

The paddle is excellent on finish and appearance. It is, however, winter here in Northern Illinois, and the surface of the water is too hard to put the kayak in and see how the paddle performs. After I get a chance to use it, I may change the four star rating either up or down.

Very nice, lightweight wing blade paddle. Scoops the water very well. Similar to an epic paddle I’ve used. The bag is also very nice. Can store two sets of paddles, or gloves and wet shoes. I recommend for anyone looking for a wing blade paddle for that extra push. Update! I’ve done a few races this year and have been finishing 1, or 2nd with the paddle. Did a 30mile race and paddle took me all the way! I’m in a stellar s16, and a Seda Gypsy for the adventure triathlon’s(it gets beat up some).

Buena pala. No le doy 5 estrellas porque el mecanismo que mantiene las dos partes en su lugar no viene de fábrica bien ajustado, por lo que las dos partes no quedan firmes. Al recibirlo, tuve que utilizar un destornillador phillips que me prestó el vecino (porque yo no tenía uno tan pequeño) para soltar los dos tornillos, luego ajustar la pieza central con una llave allen igual de pequeña. Luego de ese proceso las dos partes de la pala quedan bien unidas.
