Amazon said they’re gonna send me a prepaid label never did charge me for shipping that was more expensive than the motor that came one state away but to return it they want me to send it seven states away so it’s more expensive to return it than to keep it. Post office said it would be close to $200 to return it to California, but it came from Illinois and I live in Indiana

The engine has a hesitation slight delay it pauses for a few seconds when you first start it at idle mode and then it will take off. I have tried to figure out what mechanism is controlling that but have failed. We cannot find any computer can't find any kind of electrical mechanism that would put it in idle mode for approximately 5 Seconds on your very first startup. With that issue right there and the starter issue I have is that while cranking the engine will go ahead and fire over for a second and it will kick the starter out and die you do that multiple times over and over and over the starter will not stay with it and crank it over even though the engine hits just slightly on one instant and will not stay with the engine it will kick out. I do have it hooked to an air compressor pump with two belts. The air compressor has little to no drag while in start mode with the line completely disconnected from the air compressor to absolutely eliminate the idea of back pressure the engine still will not start. The starter will kick out it's very first hit and the engine will then come to a halt while still trying to start it. Over and over and over you go. I give up I cannot get this to just fire up on first hit and I cannot get the starter to stay engaged long enough for the engine to start. With the belts off the engine completely disconnected from the air compressor pump zero drag on the engine it will start. But why did I buy the engine if I can't hook something to it. That little bit of the belts going around and around the pulleys prevents it from starting. I would like to think that this engine is a fluke but I can't help to think that if I ordered another one it would be the same issue. Don't get me wrong when I do get the engine running it does a great job at pumping this air compressor even at an idle will still bring the compressor to 175 PSI. Awesome engine very powerful little package. Runs great. Just can't get it to start.

Works noise is pretty low but still kinda loud needs a specific clutch 20mm hard to line up with torque converter need specific belt to fit runs good haven't driven yet to know the rest but seems to be a good motor for the money does have a cheap carburetor would recommend you to update that mine seems to already be wanting to clog and only have ran it for test so far waste of money will not pull a kt196 go kart got two different clutches and neither one will work clutch gets smoking hot tried belt and chain neither works for it wouldn't recommend this motor not to happy with it put alot of work and time into my go kart just for the motor to not pull my go kart and they won't refund it either
