Who would have thought there would be not just one size for the stem on office chair wheels, not even just two, but three? There are: the standard size has a diameter of 11 mm, these wheels here have a stem diameter of 9 mm--and the ones I needed to replace have a stem diameter of 10 mm. Which doesn't seem to exist as a replacement part, and neither the large (standard) ones nor the small ones (these) fit my chair. Sigh... Moral of the story: get a calipers to measure the stems on your current wheels--I doubt you can measure them accurately enough with a ruler. 9, 10 or 11 mm. ... show more

I've been trying to find caster wheels for the office chair for a while and wasn't having much luck until the add for this popped up. I was having a hard time finding the 3/8" stem (most are 7/16"), but this one saved the chair. Fits perfectly, rolls very smoothly, and I'm a very happy customer.

It works great, but there are subtleties in the sizes, be sure you measure correctly. It took three tries until I got it right.
