I haven’t used it yet, so this review is just based on my first impressions. The material is really nice and is very high quality. It’s comfortable, but snug like a life jacket is supposed to fit. I got a size XS and I’m 5’2” 100 lbs. I wear an XS tops and have a 30-32 in band size. I understand what the other reviewers mean when they say it runs small, but to me it’s perfect. I would not size up or it will probably ride up. Edit: just wore it in the water yesterday and it gets looser when it gets wet. It did not ride up to my chin. This vest is absolutely what I was looking for. I'm 5'5 and have a VERY short torso compared to length of my legs. I only have about 1.5 inches between the bottom of my ribcage and top of my hips. I've struggled to find a vest that fits me without being tight around my hips and up in my ears making me feel like a turtle. When in the water, this vest keeps my head and neck well above the water and is comfortable while giving a little subtle style with the tiger stripes. It's very snugged yet comfortable and lightweight. Not use to my other life vest being as snugged but then I learned that they are apparently suppose to be. I feel safe with it on.

    • Bought a Med. but should’ve got a Small: Stick to size chart
I was worried I wouldn’t be able to breathe in this thing based off some dramatic reviews, but I wish I bought a size small like the size chart suggested (my chest measurement is 34”, B cup and I’m 5’1 & 115lbs, with broad shoulders, 25” waist). I’m returning the medium for a small, which I think will be perfect for me! It was snug, but not enough- I could semi-easily pull the shoulders up by my neck while it was fully zipped and buckled tight & I’m sure in water it would have been worse. It feels and looks like it’s EXTREMELY high quality so I’m 100% pleased with the heftier price I’m paying. The Zebra stripes are so cute and subtle too!! I hope I can wear this thing forever and everrr!! So so fabulous and doesn’t scream obnoxious like other women’s life vests!! Get it!! But GO WITH THE SIZE CHART AND YOUR MEASUREMENTS! ... show more

Sizing for my wife is tough being 5’ and 110lbs. XS was a bit tight be the S was too big. Sizing it as they claim. LOVE the vest! Loos great but more importantly holds and is comfortable for paddle boarding!

Amazingly light fit quality. Spend LONG days on Yamaha jetskis and neurotic about comfort of life vest as a result. How I missed this gem all these years I have no idea…already ordered two more! I measure a “medium” 5’6 female 145+ pds w not much in the chest area. I went w large (def some room unused in chest but waist and overall fit is spot on) I believe a medium in waste would be overly tight. The large is not sloppy at all. I read reviews for a couple of hours trying to compare body types and experiences so I could get a life jacket online without having to return it for another size. I'm 5'4, 130 lbs, short torso and very small chest. I got the medium size and it fit like a glove. The small would not have fit without discomfort. I immediately went to the water and played with my dog to test it. (I got her a dog life vest) I didn't even notice the jacket was on, it doesn't float up on your neck and annoy you.
