I want to start off by saying that I feel like this is a very well-made product and it is absolutely a safety must for any child boating. However, in my case, my child does not quite fit this very well. It fits perfectly around her body however, the back of it is so tall, the back of the life fest actually comes up to her head, making it difficult for her to maneuver her head while wearing it on the boat. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This life jacket works great for my 20 month old daughter. No matter which way she falls it instantly rolls her onto her back. Her head is supported by the head piece and it does not get in the way or affect her movement while wearing it. The color is bright and cute. We purchased this when she was about 9 months old and it fit her well then also. She seems comfortable both in and out of the water with it on. Very good quality material and I think it's quite comfortable for our little one to wear. It runs small though. Our family is long and lean and this just fits the length of her torso. The jacket has tummy room to expand but as I said just fits her torso. I'm a bit bummed honestly with what we paid for this given it barely fits but if it were a good fit I'd recommend. It's very good quality, I can't stress that enough. I think their next size up is a women's and I was a bit leery of going up to that size as our child is only a petite 8 yr old.
