Great power supply. Haven't tested it with a power hog gpu like a 5090 or anything, but wanted to ensure the build had room for one in case a hungry gpu gets thrown into the rig. Bought the white model, clean looking, and a good set of wrapped cables to keep things more compact and manageable...Although I'm using sleeved extensions for a cleaner look. Build this rig a bit ago compared to review, price has risen, as such, I probably would lean more towards a few other reputable brands with ATX 3.1 units considering such. But still a great psu.

I bought one with my 5090 and one for my 3080ti. Both work great with zero issues. I’ve been using them both daily for 7 months with no problems. When I play games with my 5090 I will spend 12 to 14 hours a day gaming, and this power supply has been GOLD so far. I will post back if I have any issues, but I doubt I will have any.

My Specs: AMD Ryzen 5950X 16 core/32 thread CPU 64gb DDR4 3600mhz RAM MSI RTX 3090 24gb GPU 1TB m.2 NVME for Windows 2TB m.2 NVME for games I was running on a ten year old Dell 1000w power supply. I use them because they are generally very beefy and reliable. But I wanted to upgrade to something nicer that matched my all white PC. I chose this 1200w so that if I upgrade to a 5000 series RTX card later I would be better prepared. Plus I love having some overhead. I made the swap, the all white PSU and Cables looked great. I started playing games and within one week I got my first shut down. The entire PC just shut off. The PSU got hot. I made sure the fan was kicking on (this PSU has silent mode). I swapped the cables (standard PCIe power cables) to the newer 600w 12V-2x6 thinking that my 3090 was drawing too much from the standard PCIe cables. To no avail. The same thing kept happening. Over the course of the next several months it happened several times under a gaming load. No matter the cable configuration or the ambient temp in the room (which is usually about 68*f because I like it cold in my game room) the PSU keeps getting hot and shutting off. I recently went back to my decade old 1000w power supply made by Dell and the shutdowns stopped. That decade old galvanized gray metal box from Dell is still more reliable than this BRAND NEW 1200w PSU. I am very disappointed in NZXT for this one.

10 months later, Sturdy, well built, future proofed. Lotta hate I see online in places like Reddit about it, but so far so good, unlike some of these negative reviews that look like user error, I made sure this thing was perfect out of the box before installing and it's been silent and smooth ever since. For reference my DIY gaming PC setup only draws around 450 watts - 475 watts when gaming, I just got this overkill PSU because I figured why not, it'll protect against power surges easily with this much headroom.
