There are many persons out there trying to buy speakers online without having heard them first and relying on reviews to help them purchase an item. Buy this speaker if you are looking for a space saving option. This speaker sounds great. I am from the Caribbean and listen to bass heavy music like dancehall, this gives you great, deep bass that is tight not boomy. You will not regret this. I have a pioneer head unit in a Rav4. It is great. Im not sure what it would sound like in a closed boot car, but in an SUV it works. Iiterally just had it professionally installed like an hour ago and I said let me come write a review. I spent hours reading reviews, looking at YouTube videos, TicTok even AI research. This is a great speaker. I have only raised the volume to 10 on the head unit normally I play it at around 18-20 (Pioneer head-don't remember the model). It is loud, and you feel the bass. I will update once I go through the break in period and really open it up. Update Day 2: DO NOT BUY ....unless you want to give yourself a headache from the bass this thing puts out!!! It's rare to find a product that matches its description. I have raised the volume to 14 and succeeded in giving myself a headache. Needless to say extremely happy with the speaker. Love the fact that I lose zero space in the back and it sounds amazing. It really works. Went with the professional install because I didnt want to mess around with pulling the car apart. But it is really simple to install, has RCA and speaker wire connections. They say you lose some fidelity using the RCA jack as I have done but if that is the case I dont want to hear it on the speaker wires. I have it mated with 4 infinity Kappa 63XFs straight from the head unit. No amps.

Love this spare tire sub. Installed in Nissan Ariya with the weak BOSE subwoofer, so it's basically an exchange in/out with power sourced. I bought it to clear up the weak and forward driven sound. I had it professionally installed for about $300. It does an amazing job adding bass and enhancing the weaker rear speakers. Amp is strong, and tweaks and done on it like it's an old school amp. I love having a great source of bass hidden in the spare well.

This thing is great for such a small package. Sure, it isn't 2 12s in the trunk. But it adds the lows and low-mid to the vehicle without consuming a cubic yard of space. I have a 2019 WRX and it fits under the seat but i must say, just barely. I am not sure it would have fit under the driver seat (more adjustable). but it does sound good. It actually hits pretty hard for 3" tall. I do not have it fully adjusted just yet. Its actually too loud right now for my prefs. but I would rather have it too loud but adjustable than not loud enough at max. It was easy to install. Set up is one of those things like any amp/speaker combo. you dont just turn it all up to 11 and roll down the street. We will see what happens with time though.

when i hooked it up it sounded friggin amazing then it died and it stopped working......maybe the gain was too high? i dont know but im going to try to get it resolved. easy setup if you know what you doin UPDATE got a new one and got the proper tune and its the greatest sub for the money. not a window shaker but you feel it and it feels good.slowly break it in dont just wake it up. Update stopped working again this is a light duty sub nothing too hard

I like that I can get quality sub sound. This is not the Bang that the younger generation likes. It's not going to rattle your license plate but it will vibrate your mirrors. One point that I had to figure out on my own is that after initial install, the amp would not turn on at even at the lowest setting. I had to jump the 12volt power input to the REM input to get it to turn on. After that, I have not had any issues. Overall, it is a good buy for the money and very well built. The case is the Bulk of the weight. I will stand up for a long time.

The media could not be loaded. Amazing sound for a small compact unit. Can’t get an easier setup!! Was skeptical with getting an 8” sub but this did not disappoint. I was only looking to add low range sound to my music and make the drive to work more enjoyable, while fitting under my 2021 Colorado back seat. But it definitely out performs. And can’t beat the value.

So, the “500w” is laughable. With the supplied 15amp fuse, using math, this can put a max of 200w. When i hooked it up, it sounded good. So that’s the plus side. The port? Well, it’s not even real. When in use, you should feel air coming out if this. You don’t. Which makes me feel it’s not even a real port. The best part? The case was energized. When i mounted it to the floor, i immediately blew a fuse. Checked it with my multimeter… and sure enough. Sucked because it DID sound good. Just not safe to install. Will update when i get the replacement.

Got this for my truck it fits perfect under the drivers seat, im planning on getting another for the passenger seat but with just one it sounds great with a good amount of bass and is super crisp, i mostly listen to doom metal which plays almost entirely in the sub and i couldn't be happier, ive had the sub installed for 8 months now and have had zero problems.
