  • Quality for your money
Size: 3.5 inch Coaixial
Is a awesome 3.5” pair of speakers, I could not expect more from them, nice quality, nice sound, Amazing

  • Box states 50watt RMS. Not as advertised
Box states 50watt RMS and 150 watt peak. And 75 watts they clipped a little bit but held up pretty good. Magnets are a tad smaller than the Polk marine 4x6 and the infinity speakers I have with a 3”woofer and both of those speakers cost 3x as much. Metal basket has plenty of holes to mount and is easy to clip for tight spaces. ... show more

  • great for the money
Size: 4 inch Coaxial
My experience with 4" speakers is limited, but these are easily twice as good of a speaker as the rockford fosgate prime 4" for about the same money. running amplified and active crossover

  • Pretty good for the money
Size: 6.5 inch Coaxial
Audio quality is good for stock speakers replacement. I got these as a temporary substitute as the speakers I wanted were not in stock at the time. I can hear audio outside the car at 30-35 feet away. The mid range of the driver suffers if I adjust the bass from 0 to 4 on the head unit. Otherwise, the mid-bass is OK. The treble on the headunit can go almost all the way 0-5 (6 is max) with no noticeable distortion. I usually don't care for midrange of drivers as the subwoofers usually overtake any bass from them. Since I have no subs installed right now, I figured I would give the review before they get installed. A worthy stock speaker replacement. Installation kit includes a bracket however, this aftermarket brace did not secure well to the cars cutout. I was forced to make my own braces...no biggie because I had the time and resources to do it. ... show more

  • These NVX are pretty stout, not only in power handling but the cone construction seems pretty rigid.
Size: 6.5 inch Coaxial
Installed the NVX 6.5" 80watt RMS in the front doors of 2012 Nissan Versa Sedan. Powering through my Pioneer 150w 2 channel amp. Tuned the gain with an O-scope and got them dialed in at 17v or about 72 watts. Good idea to give just a bit of overhead in case you need to turn it up a bit more for music recorded at a low level. My doors are all sound deadened with butyl rubber matts inside and out. So, don't have rattles and usually get good mid range response. But was a little worried because the sounded a bit muddy at first. But thought better to reserve judgment until they broke in a bit. After about 3-4 days they started to open up and got louder and definitely a lot clearer sounding. I had a cheap pair of those BOSS audio 6.5" laying around and I put them on a digital scale to compare the weight. These NVX 6.5 weigh about a half pound heavier than the cheap BOSS audio crap. And the BOSS audio claimed to be a 120watt RMS speaker, psssh yea right, they blew out at 35 watts. These NVX are pretty stout, not only in power handling but the cone construction seems pretty rigid. It's nice that they actually include all the FS, QTS, QMS numbers for the speaker in the manual. So, I appreciate that they are open and upfront about the performance of the speaker and that the power handling is being honestly and accurately reported. The sensitivity is maybe a little on the low side so these don't get ear piercing loud but in some ways that's a good thing as many speakers just sound way to bright in the highs but the NVX have a accurate, natural tone reproduction. What they lack in the high end they definitely make up for in the midrange. Nice speakers for hearing the slap bass, and the kick drum sounds like it's kicking right through the door. In an ideal setup I think these would work really well as a rear fill, midrange speaker but they hold their own up at the front. ... show more

  • Excellent value!
Size: 6 x 9 inch Coaxial
Selected these because the coax tweeter does not protrude above the mounting surface, and due to the power rating. These are replacing old Phase Linear (Jensen made) triax speakers that were top of the line back in the mid-80's, when I worked there. These speakers provide all the bass and highs (at least the ones I can still hear) that I need. Feeding these with a Philips EN2100 100W RMS / channel amp with low low distortion. These sound great and represent a fantastic value. I would buy again. ... show more
