Description

The Marea & Supernova Dry is a perfect solution for adult average snorkelers and scuba divers. Designed for adult divers the Marea mask gives an exceptionally wide field of view. Mask is equipped with Cressi's Micrometric Easy Adjust Buckles and has a wide Silicone Strap designed for even dispersion of pressure for increased fit and comfort. Mask has an Easy-to-Reach one-hand nose pocket for ear equalization, which can be utilized even when wearing thick gloves. The Marea has separate lenses, a skirt edge that adapts to most faces and a small inner volume, perfect for scuba divers and even snorkelers. The Supernova Dry snorkel has a unique Splash Guard at the top which greatly reduces the entrance of water during use on the surface. The special Valve on top seals the tube as you dive, almost totally preventing the entrance of water when the snorkel is submerged. The end part has a corrugated piece that is smooth on the inner side and keeps the snorkel away from the mouth during use when scuba diving. A special water collection well, with a large elliptic valve, allows quick and easy expulsion of water. The replaceable angled mouthpiece and corrugated tube section are both made from Hypoallergenic Silicone adding comfort and function.

update: July 2022, almost EIGHT years later, and I'm still using this set. The silicone has yellowed but still works great. Came to purchase another for family. I purchased this set after my US Divers snorkel broke after about an hour of use (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B004TTMGL4/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0). I'm glad it did because the set is far far superior in terms of visibility, comfort, quality and (likely) durability. With this mask, I stayed in the water longer and could see much more that those using other sets. I usually use a snorkel/mask at least once a week during the summer in rivers and oceans. This set seems as though it will last a few seasons. The mask is comfortable, has good visibility and fogs minimally (though I do treat with baby shampoo before every use). It seems to be of good quality. It has a convenient clip that allows easy attachment/detachment of the snorkel to the mask. The dry snorkel works amazingly well. I haven't had trouble with water in my mouth/lungs. It also has a neat style because the tube is clear. The mouthpiece is comfortable and tasteless. The bag seems a bit pointless because it doesn't breathe so I use a mesh one instead that allows the set to dry completely. I would buy this set again and have recommended it to others. ... show more

We bought two of these - one in yellow and one in pink - for our 10 and 11 year old to use on our recent trip to Florida. They fit perfectly, and performed amazingly well on all of the snorkeling trips that we took, and even just while looking for shells along the beach and playing in the pool. They never had any issues with fogging, even though we didn't pre-treat the mask. Former diver, now primarily snorkeling. These were a great set of inexpensive but not a cheap product. I'll be happy to have these for occasional snorkeling trips. I find it much better to have my own, then to rely on rentals.

Mask was filling with water while swimming, so I carefully placed it on a countertop and filled it with some tap water. Watched water drip out near the bridge of the nose underneath. Defeats the whole purpose of a mask!
