I had a problem with the first one when I plugged it into 240v and now it doesn't work but Amazon gave me a good rebate.. it's cheaper for me to buy a new one so I did as I've been using these off and on for 10years or so and rate them highly as I also still have one of the original ones.. this a big leap forward with the grill plate and cooks just as fast if not faster than the ninja and others as there's no wait time, no need to wait for defrosting and it can expand to a 30lb turkey.. YouTube doesn't show many cooking a turkey as it's not easy and they say the chicken is crispy when it's burnt.. the chicken doesn't need herbs to taste nice from this cooker..big shout out to wave oven recipes.. I've cooked 4 1.9kg chickens since buying this and everyone although not crispy skin because I cook at lower temperatures turned out amazing.. didn't need to turn it, didn't need to salt it or herbs..40 to 50 minutes with roasted veggies.. I've made 4 apple sponge pudding and they were all good

This is my THIRD NuWave Pro Grill and it's by far the most inferior! I received this as a gift from my boyfriend because I REFUSED to buy another one on March 21st or 27th. The two previous domes cracked repeatedly. This one, the dome has MELTED in a section. Worst yet, the heating element is no where near correct because EVERY time I lift it, AFTER tightening it, it comes apart! Don't get me started on those RIDICULOUS, so called guards meant to hold the heating element and the dome. They pop off repeatedly and you'd better not move if you're foolish enough to use it! I don't want ANYBODY asking me questions through Amazon! I asked a simple question about how the "new and improved domestic cracking"? She wrote back, I haven't had any problems with MY OLD ONE"! That's NOT what I asked!! If you've got money to throw out the window, buy it. It's straight up trash AND instead of 50/50 percent for cooking, it automatically sets at 30% upper and 70% lower for uneven cooking.

The Nuwave oven works great, it does a pretty good job warming up pizza, frozen waffles and other foods. The problem is that the dome part keeps slipping off. Also,the touch pad on the power head keeps malfunctioning. Such as anytime I plug in the Nuwave and turn it to change the settings, it freezes sometimes like when I tap on the settings, nothing happens, and sometimes the time settings go down 0 by itself when I’m trying to make some adjustments to it. So I had to unplug it and plug it back in. This happens too often each day when I use it.

So this thing is not small but a great size if you can’t have an outdoor grill or don’t have a convection oven. It has a ton on settings and options but the 2 main things is the top can generate heat and broil/convect and the bottom also heats up and operates as a grill/searing surface. It actually works pretty well in both methods and because of the higher plastic surrounding it can grill and contain any splashing and the base will hold the drippings/juices. It works pretty fast as well. All that said it is big so you need some good counter space for it and/or good pantry space to store it. Have not used the smartphone function yet but might in the future. It is also not winning any awards on the looks department as it looks kind of bulky and not cool/modern but works great. I guess you can’t have it all.

Bought the Nuwave Primo because I have the original Nuwave and it has done well for me for over 9 years. So I assumed this would be even better. We'll it wasn't. Was excited when I got it and cooked on it 3 times and was thrilled how it worked until the 4th time the fan motor quit working. Maybe I'll try and buy another one in a few years after the bugs are worked out. My old Nuwave Oven will continue to feed my family. Wasn't to thrilled about the heated bottom grill because the steam came out where it was plugged in. I thought that would be the first thing to quit working. Nuwave should put out a video on how to use the Oven. Trial and error isn't the best way to learn. There are a few things that need to be worked out before I buy another one. Buy at your own RISK.
