My wife doesn't cook and I needed a counter induction stove top. I was hesitant to purchase the Nuwave, but it's turned out to be my favorite stove top to cook with, it's been a game changer. Performance: My boil test was incredible—it outperformed my 10-year-old range by a mile. Once you experience this speed, there’s no going back. These heat up so fast (1 minute for sautéing, 3 for shallow frying). Ease of Use: Learning the temperature controls was intuitive and much easier than my traditional stove. While I knew I might need new cookware, I was happy to find that half of my current set worked perfectly. The Best Part: They don't heat up the kitchen. My old stove would trigger the AC almost immediately; these stay cool, heating only the pan. If you want quality meals in less time without heating up your house, I highly recommend these!.

I haven't used my stove since I got these little thing. The lack of heat compared to my coil range is AMAZING and my cookware heats much more evenly, too. The adjustable wattage is a nice plus, and I love being able to dial my stuff in by degrees combined with the built-in probe instead of guessing with a knob. And it's pretty lightweight for the size, easy to move around. This thing is great.

This is the 5th one of Nuwave Induction cooktops I have purchased. I love them. I have given 3 of them as presents, and the recipients all agreed that the unit works wonderfully. This unit has the ability to select the power requirements. That really helps out, especially if you have many electrical devices on the same circuit. It still cooks at the correct temperature, just might take a few seconds longer to reach the target temp. Maintains the temp just fine, using the lower power setting. I have an older house, and the circuits are kind of already close to the max units on them. With my older Nuwave , I had to be careful to and pay attention to what other devices I had plugged in, so I wouldn't trip the breaker. With this one I can lower the power requirement, and continue without disconnecting other appliances. Very useful. I cook the same way with this one as I did with my older one, which still works great, so I probably don't take advantage of the newer updated features that are in this new device. So I can't comment on the new advancements. I don't notice any difference in the noise level while cooking, I had read other reviews that made a complaint about the noise, but I can't hear any more now than I did with my older ones. As with the older units I have, they still look nice, apparently made with pretty good quality parts, still look and work great. Even the cooktop surface still looks good after being used everyday for years. Not much to cleaning them, just wipe them off. You can probably guess that I'm satisfied with them, I try to be very accurate with my description, and review, I see no reason not to be truthful in any review, good or bad.

This has been the perfect hob to use on my counter without taking up too much space! The electric coils on my stove are not that great and they are uneven so you cannot really get even heating or oil coverage so I was in the market for something I can use indoors that will replace my stove for the bulk of my cooking. The price for this can’t be beat for the performance you get out of it. The large heating coil they tout is legit, and it heats my 12.5in clad pan (base a little over 9in) very evenly. I find that running it at the least aggressive 700w setting and then doing temperature steps while giving the pan a few minutes to heat up is key to having an evenly heated pan. It has also been very fast at boiling water in all my pots even my large ones. The temperature sensors and controls are very accurate and the thermometer has been pretty handy even when I’m not using the hob and am baking instead. I’ve been very pleased with this induction hob and it’s been helping me a lot in the kitchen create some really tasty meals. With proper heat control and some fat, any pan can become a nonstick.

Pleasantly surprised by this PIC. Pros: It fits perfectly on our current gas stove top where we have disabled one gas burner. It’s fast, has a lot of settings, great simple cook book, reasonably quiet cooling fan, stable base, and multiple adjustments for speed and wattage, and some pre-programmed cooking sets. Nits: the ceramic surface is a little difficult to keep shinny. There seems to be a slight film residue from each use. A clean cloth with a tiny amount of rubbing alcohol seems to help. Also we really DON’T like the huge LOGO/advertising across the entire cooking surface. It mares that otherwise sleek look of this PIC. There is already a logo on the front, no need to SHOUT it out. Otherwise we would highly recommend this induction cooker.

I recently bought another NuWave induction stove, since I’m really impressed of the product. First off, it heats up super fast — water boils almost instantly, and your food cooks evenly. The temperature controls are very precise, so you can simmer, fry, or sear without guessing. I love that it’s energy-efficient. Since it heats the pan directly, less electricity is wasted, and your kitchen stays cooler. Plus, the smooth top is so easy to clean — spills wipe off in seconds. It’s also safe, especially for kids, because the cooktop itself doesn’t get super hot, and it even turns off automatically if there’s no pan. On top of that, it’s compact and portable, perfect if you don’t have a big kitchen or want a secondary burner. Overall, the NuWave induction stove makes cooking faster, cleaner, and safer — a really smart addition to any kitchen.

I just received my Nuwave Induction Cooktop. iI looks great, although the rubber feet were missing. I called and they will be sent to me. But, the important thing is that this is a replacement for the same, but updated, product I was gifted many years ago. I used it daily on top of my washer for several years. I know that sounds strange, but following knee surgery it was difficult to climb my circular stairway, and my kitchen was upstairs. I loved using it more than my standard stove. We later moved, and one and a half years ago I purchased a full induction top stove. It was difficult to push the little flat lines to start cooking, and wouldn't work at all when we had company Memorial day. A few days later, it worked. Last week it stopped working again. The cost to have it serviced was complicated -- $150 plus parts, or $300 to insure the entire cost would be covered. Instead I purchased two matching Nuwave induction cooktops for less than the guaranteed repair cost would have been. The touch buttons on the old Nuwave are worn, but they still work, so I am keeping that one as well. A great product!!! I highly recommend it!!!

I bought this while our kitchen was being renovated, and it has worked out great. It heats up quickly and has plenty of power for everyday cooking, whether boiling water, sautéing, or simmering. The temperature controls are very precise, making it much easier to cook consistently than with a standard hot plate. I also like how portable and compact it is. It doesn’t take up much space and is easy to move when needed. The build quality feels solid, and the digital controls are straightforward to use. Overall, this turned out to be much more capable than I expected and worked perfectly as a temporary cooking solution.
