When asked what I wanted for Christmas, I said "a good set of pots and pans". My husband agreed. We had a hodgepodge of unmatched pans that everything stuck to. I reviewed a ton of sets before settling on the Nuwave pans. I LOVE THESE PANS!!!! Nothing sticks. They are heavy, not some cheap aluminum ones that warp. Today I made chili. EVERY pot I used before, ended up with burnt beans on the bottom. Not this set! It simmered all day and when I served it, everything was perfect. Nothing burnt on the bottom. When I emptied the pot, it cleaned up like a dream. I can't say enough about them.

The set itself is very nice and nice to cook in. Nothing has stuck! But… Did not notice in the picture before I bought, but the lid handles to these pots are steel. When cooking, the handle gets very hot and cannot lift the lid without a pot holder. The handle to the pot itself does not get hot though.

We bought these because they work on an inductive cooktop, but also work on gas and standard electric burners. Compared to our Cuisinart pots, many of which are 37 years old and still excellent, these are surprisingly nice: Thick bottom (better for even heating) and walls, a finish that seems very solid, and a tough non-stick interior. Hint: Don't believe that hype that you don't need oil or margarine and the foot will just slip out--but with a squirt of Pam, it will, easily. Glass lids are a toss-up, but we generally prefer them because you can see what's going on, yet you must treat them carefully. You must use non-metallic utensils but most people do anyway. So far, we're thrilled with them!

I got these to replace my almost 20 year old pots and pans and they are fantastic. They are a nice weight and seem pretty durable. I replaced my utensils with wooden and silicone ones as well to retain the non stick finish. They heat up really fast and clean super easy. I made pot stickers in the frying pan and the char from the dumplings just rinsed right off; I barely had to wipe it down!
