Pros: - Gorgeous, sturdy* bistro set! - Fits an umbrella but also looks cute without one Cons: - Took almost 2 hours to put together by myself - Complicated yet vague assembly instructions - *Required a real socket wrench to get everything tight enough to not wobble - Screws to attach legs to the table didn't go in all the way (no matter how many power tools I tried) and they stick out too far to put on the protective caps (photo) - Not sure about the durability of the metal, it was covered in water stains after 1 night (pictured). Will give it a clear protective coat probably. TL;DR nice set but get ready to solve a puzzle with putting it together! Definitely a 2-person job! p.s. when they say don't tighten anything until the very end, they really mean it! ... show more

    • Some assembly required
It was more than some assembly required. The entire set had to be assembled. The tools that were included did not fit all of the nuts and screws. It took two people quite a bit of time to assemble and a great deal of difficulty. There were parts that were not clearly identifiable and did not exactly fit without some force. The caps that covered the screws and nuts did not fit and had to be glued in place. ... show more

    • Manufacturing Flaws
The pre-drilled holes in one of the chair legs did not line up with the studs on the seat bottom. It wasn't even close. We had to use a Dremel tool to make the hole significantly larger. Also, it took a few of us to bend and hold legs and arms in place while others inserted and tightened the bolts, washers and screws. The materials seem strong enough but the manufacturing process is apparently flawed because even the "good" holes did not line up exactly. A lot of effort was required to put this set together. We've purchased larger sets from other manufacturers that were much more well made. Once assembled, it seems like a lovely set that's attractive and going to last a long time. Be sure to take your time putting this together. Have all the parts and hardware organized before starting. Unfortunately the hardware comes on large pieces of cardboard completely covered with a sticky clears tape. If you try to pull the individual packets off the sticky tape, the designated part number pulls off. I cut around each packet and did not pull off the sticky stuff. The written instructions and illustrations are on different pages so look them over well before starting. I am 73 and was able to do the complete set by myself. Do the chairs first (be sure to follow instructions and don't tighten everything until the very end). The table goes together very easily. This set is very pretty! ... show more

The product has a cute look however, it is on the small size and very straight angle to the seat. I bought this one because it had arm rests and that it measured larger than some of the others. You can sit for approx. ten minutes before you are ready to find a new chair. So if you are buying this item to be cute its cute if you actually buying the item to use you may want to find something more comfortable ... show more

Much nicer and heavier than expected! Not to bad to put together just takes some time but very sturdy! Very happy with the chairs and the table. I am also glad I selected the chairs with the arms, they are also very sturdy! I would recommend this set to anyone who is looking for a nice quality patio bistro set! I ordered an umbrella and stand to go with mine and I love it! I sit on my deck more now than I ever have! ... show more

    • SURPRISINGLY PLEASED!!
I was looking for an affordable bistro set that would match my style and be at least somewhat comfortable. I had some Amazon points so I figured I couldn't go wrong for about $40. Well, I would have paid full price for it! Very sturdy. Actually comfortable. I should note I'm rather miniature. Assembled it myself and although it came with "tools", I was able to use REAL tools to tighten everything up. Hope it holds up to WI elements for a long time! ... show more

Beautiful and Sturdy, especially for not being very heavy. we live in an area where the winds get pretty rough at times. It didn't blow off the porch so that's great. It didn't take my husband a bit of time to assemble. We are very happy with it overall.
