These are great for storing food but it can be challenging trying to determine what size I need to cut for each portion. If I don’t give myself enough space for my vacuum sealer it will not properly vacuum and seal. Sometimes I oversized the bags and feel like I’m wasting material, but now I use the extra ledge to label and date each bag. ... show more

We purchased the NutriChef Vacuum Sealer for freezing meat and veggys. The Vacuum Sealer works great for freezing meats. It is easy to use and clean. Nice size for smaller kitchens. The bags and rolls for cutting a particular size is very handy. I tried to freeze fresh sweet corn (cut off the cob) but it had too much liquid. I used the ones that came with my nutrichef vacuum sealer and loved them. I purchased another brand but they didn't seem to be as thick as the nutrichef bags and didn't seal very well either.
