I have a full kitchen, but my pizza stone got broken. This is a nice countertop option for anyone and even someone in an efficiency apartment -- or anywhere. The natural clay stone must be heated slowly but gives raw dough and frozen dough a nice finish. The dual heating elements - top and bottom - make sure the pizza is hot and cooked properly. I liked the viewing window and I resisted the urge to let the heat out by peeking. Its non-stick and was pretty easy to clean and doesn't have a huge footprint on my counter and doesn't take up a lot of storage space. It is about 13 inches in diameter with a easy and strong flip top, and the controls are simple. It is made with stainless steel and aluminum, and I like the black color. I believe there were other color choices. The plate is removable if you want to serve on that, but I just moved it to a large cutting board on my countertop. It comes with some extras - wooden paddles, a nice a spatula and a pizza cutter. I did not understand that pizza needed to be cooked at such a high temp (up to 800 degrees) to get that texture and flavor melds. Now I know. Good warranty and a nice way to make some weekend meals more fun with the family. ... show more

This is a really nice pizza oven. I cooked a frozen pizza which I defrosted before I put it in as requested by the directions and it turned out great. I turned it on 675 for the upper and 800° for the lower. The crust was nice and crispy and the topping was perfect. The only thing is the pizza stone gets dirty quick. We purchased this to replace an older type we had thinking that we could use it for more than just pizza. It looks great but the cooking plates are terrible. Everything stuck and the stones would not come clean. We threw the unit away and purchased another unit like the old one we had. Buyer beware.

Outshines my twice as expensive Italian oven in every category. I was surprised myself honestly. It has an upper and lower thermostat which helps prevent burning. The stone is removable which I didn’t think mattered but I do like the accessibility to the lower coil it’s just nice to have that option and the stone has small wire handles that fold flat against the unit and help ease the removal of the stone should you care to, I’m not sure why I would but it’s just another option that my other oven did not have. Lower clearance with the lid up allows me to put this oven on my rectangular griddle under the microwave which allows me to vent any smoke that might occur and usually does towards the end of cooking the units can get quite hot. And another reason thenutrichef pizza oven is better imo is it has suction cup feet so it s less likely to slide off the counter in fact it would be difficult since the grip is substantial. And lastly the nutrichef oven has a cord that’s twice as long so it’s easier to move around the counter space and reach receptacles the other unit would need an extension cord to reach so again it wins and the cord looks to be of heavy gauge and nice and pliable not plasticky like some cords this is just a fantastic little oven for cooking any pizza you like either frozen or homemade from scratch it’s a winwin! 🍕😋👍 ... show more

The only issue I've had is the stone is difficult to get completely clean. Other than that I love it. Being able to adjust the top temp separately from the bottom is great because I like a bubbly, crispy top and a not-so-crispy bottom.

This NutriChef electric pizza oven is awesome! It can whip up a pizza in no time without any sogginess or the cheese becoming rubbery. It’s like getting a pizza from a restaurant! It cooks evenly and very well. It’s easy to operate so that even older children can use it. I’m looking forward to experimenting with other foods in it. This unit is very impressive. If all you want to use this for is VERY THIN things with almost no toppings, you will like this. The controls actually work great, solid construction, strong, good spring loaded hinges, it was just designed for VERY THIN things ONLY ---- or you WILL burn everything and anything you put in it as the TOP heat coil is far too close to the top of the food item. ... show more
