The quality for the money was a bit disappointing. There are snags/pulls in the braided weave and the stitching isn't good quality. It was also difficult to get the rug to lay flat. It sort of puckers in areas. There is also a weird thing with how the seams line up so it almost looks like different sections don't match. I purchased three of these rugs and each one had the same issues. It was also the exact color I needed so I'm not returning and just hoping they relax a bit and where I cut the snags doesn't end up being an issue. ... show more

More beautiful in person! We are using this rug in our new camper and ordered it in 3 different sizes to use throughout the camper. I’m even thinking to put in our new home once it’s built . Look much more expensive than they are. The third one that finally arrived was just as pretty but dimensions were way off donut will not fit where i planned on putting it . It’s too hard to reared and send back so i guess i’ll try and find someplace else to use it. ... show more

I wanted something light, with a fresh feel. But I didn't want jute or those similar natural fiber rugs because they shed all over the place and aren't soft on the feet. This fit the bill, and I wasn't even a little disappointed. I love it. The design isn't obtrusive or annoying, it's understated and lovely. One of my dogs vomited on it and I used a rug cleaning spray and it came right out. It's definitely not a thick rug, but it's thick enough for my dogs to lie on it, and that's good enough for me. When we got it, we unrolled it and rolled it back up backwards, and that did the trick - when we went to put it on the floor, none of the edges were curled. We're using a nonslip grip rug pad, and nothing else. I'm very happy with this rug! ... show more

If you read the reviews carefully you will see many reviewers mentioning that this rug begins to fall apart rather quickly (eg. fibers coming out, tufts from vacuuming, etc.) This is absolutely accurate. Know that if you are buying this rug it will NOT last forever. For me, it was just shy of 1 year before it disintegrated into a million microplastic fibers and I was forced to throw it away. The saddest part was that the fibers stuck to my cats hair, meaning she was licking little up little pieces of plastic. I had to throw it out. The rug is beautiful, soft, and actually works great outside as advertised. I used mine on my small apartment patio. And yes, it got rained on many times, but it never mildewed or molded. I was thrilled with this aspect of the rug. However, the plastic fibers its made out of are actually TINY. That's why any amount of traction will gradually loosen the bond between them, and eventually they all fall apart. I managed to double its life span by flipping it over after 6 months and got another 5 months out of it before trashing it. It felt very wasteful. Though, I loved the rug while it lasted, and the price is very low. So all in all, buyer be ware. ... show more

My husband and I wanted a jute rug in the kitchen of a rental. We bought a jute rug and it WREAKED. It smelled like there were 10 bales of hay in our kitchen. I had horrific sinus issues and we sent it back. Back at the drawing board, I found this rug, and it has the jute look without having the jute smell, or the jute difficulty to clean. So this is perfect for us! It’s not completely straight on the sides, but that adds to the uniqueness of it and handmade look. I did have to add a gorilla grip pad under it after stepping on it and it slipping right out from under me! But once the pad was under, it was good to go. UPDATE: I opened the second rug I bought for my other rental. I bought them both the same day, but this one I am SO much more disappointed in. The way it was made, there is a lump in the middle that will not flatten out because there is just too much in the middle. There are also several frayed spots just on opening. So I feel like this product is more hot or miss. You might get a good one, you might get one that needs sent back and swapped out. ... show more
