Bought the beige/ivory rug. Appears super neutral which is great because there's no orange tones to clash with anything. A few inches shy of being an 8x10 rug, but it actually fit my space better because of this. Beautiful rug, looks very expensive. Not too soft and not too rough...just right. A little smell but not overpowering at all, quickly dissipates after a day or two. A few black threads were used. Most were easy to pull out but one is embedded all the way through so it gives a little gray tone to a spot. Will try to see if I can remove the rest of it later. I took a picture of the spot - the one in which I'm pointing. I tried to post a bunch of pictures so people can actually see the true colors and measurements. When I was looking to buy this rug I was between the silver/ivory and the beige/ivory and bought the beige/ivory. For some reason the beige is so light it kind of appears silver. Which is a bit confusing because the pictures posted from people before me said beige/ivory looked like Amazon's silver/ivory rug. After buying I can confirm that the previous pictures are of the beige/ivory, just like I bought. Would highly recommend the rug to anyone. ... show more

I have had 0 shedding, but I have not used the beater on it. Thankfully it does not have a smell, I am sensitive to things like that. My friend has this rug in silver color and I liked it so much I asked where she got it. She told me the silver has a cool, slightly blue, subtle undertone in certain lighting. I took my chances ordering the beige because it would go best with my decor. I knew I loved hers, but I was worried beige would have an orange undertone, as a few of the reviewers uploaded pictures make it appear darker than the seller's photos. Thankfully, mine came accurate to the seller's photos! I hate an orange undertone in a beige, but thankfully it does not have any orange undertone! This rug is beautiful and high quality. Dinner guests often remark on it. It’s my favorite rug in our house. It does shed slightly at the edges, but it’s not noticeable. I would buy it again in a second.

I wanted a nice carpet for our kitchen table. Something more than a flat carpet. I am not sure if these are the right terms, but hopefully it will make sense. There is raised looms that are noticeable as you look at it, but also if you’re barefoot, as you run your feet across the top you notice. I love it! It is more expensive than the generic plain carpets, which is to be expected. You get what you buy. Someone in a previous review had mentioned spotting on their rug. That made me nervous but I bought it anyway. I included a pic. It looks like normal coloring of the fabric/wool and is not really noticeable unless you are looking for it. We are very pleased with the purchase. I would 100% buy this again if I needed too. (The shipping was longer than other products but worth the wait!) ... show more

Beautiful classy looking wool rug! I love how it brightens the look of my room. It didn't have any odor and also flattened out right away. The colors are exactly as pictured in the photo. This is my fourth Safavieh rug and all of them have been great quality!

I love the color the thickness, but it is not stain resistant. This is my second one of the exact make and style. I just wish it had a better stain resistant on it. I may try to scotch guard it myself.
