These are not perfect rugs, so if you're looking for the master craftsman/machine made style you won't be happy. But they are exactly what I've been looking for. Super soft under bare feet, with all the lovely imperfections that make it look like maybe, just maybe, you've got a really crafty grandmother that made it for you. It brought a whole new level of cozy to my living room, and after a month it is holding up well. Easy to vacuum or spot-clean. Enough variety in the material that you could probably get away with a stain or two if needed. It does shed a bit when unpacked. Surprisingly little new carpet smell. I don't know how people are having issues with this rug. Mine is perfect and it doesn't move or lift. It doesn't have wholes and it's coming apart. I think it just depends on which one you end up getting. The one I have is great. You have to take care of it differently than you would a regular rug and you can't slide your chairs on it.
