This rug is beautiful. It looks identical to the listing. I was worried it was scratchy because of the wool, but only the back side is a little scratchy, the surface is incredibly soft. It feels great to walk on and would be great in a child’s room or play room. The pattern is lovely. I love how it’s a solid ivory/ cream but the texture gives it a high end look. If you want this rug for a nursery, please read! I, too, thought this rug was the cutest thing for my nursery. I just had to have it! It went perfectly with my neutral, bohemian theme. I read that it sheds, but I thought, hey, I can vacuum it. Whatever! No…not whatever. Sure, I could deal with it when my baby was a newborn and we barely spent time in the nursery. But now that we spend more time playing in her room, it’s horrible. Please hear me out, the wool fibers get on her playmat, toys, and clothes. They get on her hands, which then get in her mouth, in her nose, and in her eyes! It’s all over our clothes when we sit on the rug and it’s itchy. It’s been a nightmare. I don’t have allergies, but I’m always rubbing my eyes when I’m in her room! I don’t just dislike this rug now. I LOATHE it entirely! There are mounds of wool piling up in my baby’s room and in our hallway, like tumbleweeds of wool. We can’t keep up! I’ve had this rug for 6 months, and there’s no sign of the shedding slowing down. Please rethink this rug before you end up like us, searching for a new rug for our baby’s room. (The only one in the house that likes the rug is my dog. It’s oh so scratchy for a nice back rub, so you can find my dog rolling all over it.) Oh, and ignore the review that says ignore all poor reviews. It's a cute boho rug. The color is perfect for my room and I love the raised design. The tassels at the end of the rug are a little funky-looking though. In my opinion, it would have looked better if they were shorter and not braided. They kind of look like pigtails. I would prefer a simple fringe instead of pigtails. But overall, I still like it. The wool smell dissipated in a day after leaving the window in the room open. It sheds a tiny bit, but it's not a problem. I really like this rug. Its very cute and exactly what I was looking for to use in my baby's nursery. However, it sheds a ton!!! Initially I thought it was shedding a lot because its new but I’ve had it for a few weeks now and it continues to shed. It’s probably not the best rug to use for a nursery. I added a picture of all the white shedding I collected after I swept the room. Love the look and color. Looks perfect in our neutral colored nursery. 4 stars bc it does shed a lot (this might slow down after some wear) and it’s a little itchy when you sit on it. Otherwise, I still love it and would recommend and buy again.

This is a beautiful rug. I highly recommend it if you have a boho, eclectic, or earthy decor. Unfortunately, I'm sending it back because, try as I might, I just can't make it work in my mid century house. But if you have the right architecture/design, I think you'll love this rug.
