  • If you are considering building a screened gazebo or screening in your porch, check this out. Good ideas and instructions
Format: Paperback
Great book, lots of good ideas, lots of detail on how to build the screen rooms, I enjoyed it and it will be on my shelf for years for reference.

  • Sunset Screend Room
Format: Paperback
I was looking for at least a type of parts list for an aluminum screened in deck. This is partially wooden structure from ground to deck railling level, then an aluminum enclouser with aluminum doors. The book is great for construction for enclosing exissiting porches, and building conventional screened rooms. Just not what I need. ... show more

  • Design a screen room.
Format: Paperback
I purchased this book in the hope it would cover homes that have the patio already attached to the house with two of the walls. The builder of my home had a patio already built, attached to the back of the house, roof, back and one side wall. I was looking for ideas to enclose the other two walls but the book didn't really cover any designs. Don't get me wrong it's a great book if you are starting from scratch. I would recommend this book for anyone wanting to build a detached or attached screen room. It has some great designs and offers a variety of methods to screen. ... show more

  • This is what we were looking for, and at a great price used.
Format: Paperback
We are gathering information to build a deck and screened porch on the back of our home. My husband is very skilled at DIY projects, but he wanted something that would show some diagrams of construction layouts and give some helpful information on the construction basics. While this book doesn't give you a one-size-fits-all plan to build our exact project, it covers enough of the construction techniques. Now he will be able to at least look up what he still has a question about. It also has, of course, many lovely project photos for inspiration. I was glad to find a used copy because this is the kind of book you only need for a limited period of time. ... show more

  • Full of bugs
Format: Paperback
Full of bugs. I do not want to risk getting bed bugs or other bugs in my house so this went straight to the dumpster.

  • Not useful if you actually want to screen in a porch
Format: Paperback
I would like to screen in an existing porch and I found very little useful information in this book. If you want pictures of screened porches or very general information then this book would be ok. If you actually want to screen in a porch yourself, keep looking, this book will not help.
