I did lots of research regarding natural fiber rugs. Seagrass wins by far and the one we settled on is beautiful. It is under our dining table and is also part of a walk way that gets heavy traffic. The chairs glide comfortablely on the rug and the traffic area looks as fresh as when we got it. Oh yeah... we have had spills and accidents on the rug. There is no residue or ugly water/cleaner spot left from cleaning... I just use water to dilute the stain and towels to sop it up... so easy!!! It vacuums well and even is sweepable for quick clean ups. It is a little coarse on bare feet I suppose for the tenderfoot; it is not plush carpet, but we walk on it barefooted and it doesn't bother us. I wish I had purchased on years ago. Lastly we didn't purchase a pad to put it on... the one sewn on the back works perfectly well. Hope this is helpful.

I purchased this rug to give as a house warming gift. I was at first hesitant to make the purchase sight unseen but after receiving this rug I was not dissappointed! The entire purchasing process was great with exception to shipping which actually took 5 business days (not 2-3 as Amazon committes) with an additional 2 day transit time. Amazon customer service made it right with a simple call. Quality of this rug is fantastic and the listed size in both length and width are spot on (8' x 10). This rug also has a antislip layer incorporated on its bottom side which is very effective so it could definitely be used in a high traffic location without worry. Five stars all the way!

came with several large threads pocking out and/or cut in the middle. am not sure if mine is just damaged (given the amount of threads cut off it seems like it) or if its just how they manufacture it, but it certainly looks very different on the picture than it does in person. According to reviews it looks like some of us get good ones, some of us get bad ones.

This is my fourth seagrass rug purchased on Amazon. This particular rug is the largest. After comparing several rugs, I went with this one mostly due to price. I've had it for several months now, and these are my observations: * Does not seem as durable as others due to the amount of fibers that have broken and/or come unwoven. I constantly have to snip the ends that keep popping up. * The smell is taking MUCH longer than usual to dissipate. Because I have had several seagrass rugs over the past ten years, I know what to expect in terms of smell. I don't mind the slight grassy/hay smell as it eventually goes away, but this rug STILL has a strong (almost barn-like) odor that, due to the rug's size, permeates the entire living area. Finally, I do not love the color, as it is actually much darker than it appears online. I have a feeling I will need to re-place this rug sooner than I had anticipated, so I am living with it for now, but I would not purchase it again.

The 8 x 10 rug matches my roman shades very nicely. The rug rolled out flat and nice when it arrived. Because of its neutral tones, I can decorate with any colors and it will all mesh well together. We live near Lake Oconee and seagrass and sisal type rugs go with a lot of outdoor and indoor decor around here. Very happy with it's craftsmanship too.

I LOVE this rug! This is the second NuLoom Elijah Seagrass rug I've purchased and it is just as beautiful as the first! If you're looking for a natural fiber rug, I recommend Seagrass. In my opinion, it seems to be the most durable and it lays flat, which, makes it easier to layer. You may notice a "grassy" smell at first but it quickly fades after the rug has had time to air out (maybe a day). I layered this Seagrass rug with a cowhide rug I also purchased on Amazon. I highly recommend this rug!

OK so I got this around on the beginning of December as I knew I was having holiday visitors. I love the rug it's a different size than I would normally buy and I thought it was perfect for the busy tile. Looked at every store imaginable as I usually buy everything on Amazon but because this was a really unique and different size I needed to look at a lot of places. I read that other people said the same thing about the corners not staying down flat.I have actually had it turned upside down with heavy weight on that one side that the corners just don't seem to want to lie flat… This has helped immensely although still as you can see by the pictures it is not completely flat I did purchase some of that special tape for rugs( I will see if I can add an additional picture) purchased at Lowe's or Home Depot to keep that side down as you can tell from the picture I have an actually done that yet. On my to do list LOL but the rug itself is amazing. Weight It was good. Made very well. A light sweep or a light vacuum is all you would need to clean it ( I actually just shake mine out As it is an extremely manageable size and I am in my 50s) I have bought numerous rugs from the same company in different styles and I have always had good results. I think if you're hesitating give it a try the tape is cheap and other than that we've got something that looks like it's going to stay in good shape especially for a high traffic area like a front foyer I got nothing for writing this but I know how much truthful reviews help me in my decision making. And let's be honest we can tell which ones are truthful for the most part. And hence the reason why my family and myself have gone to the point especially over the past year although we have been ordering with Amazon and through Amazon prime for years and years now probably since inception! In the last year or two we have started buying absolutely everything from Amazon including everything from Pats to even started buying our clothes and shoes… The main reason? The return policy! The ease with returning is unbelievable even large items… Make sure you check out third seller return Policies I must have UPS pull up to my house and drop off at least one package at least five days a week… And then one of the things that keeps me coming back is just how easy it is to drop off without a label that UPS they printed up right there you're in and out so why not try it why not have brought right to your front door instead of searching through local places… Instead of having something that afternoon and that's if you can possibly find something you'll have it at your front door In most cases in a day or most likely two days. And if it's not gonna come in that time. It'll say in big letters/numbers there is no searching around Trying to figure out the "truth" OK I'm starting to ramble but I can't say enough about Amazon… I honestly don't know what we would do without it… Great rug for a great price I will keep you updated three and six months in a year down the line to let you know how it's holding upDelivered right to my front door in two days. And that might not sound like a big deal to you if you live in Florida but I live in upstate New York and I am looking out my window right now at about 3 feet of snow… To have heavy cat litter brought right to my front door when this year alone I have had three surgeries on my hand, is just unbelievable:-)
