Description

Remember when your saw stayed on the right track? Keep your cuts on the straight and narrow with the WEN 20V Max Cordless Track Saw. The WEN Track Saw provides users the same results as a table or panel saw in a compact and portable package. Simply lay the track (not included – models CT9502, CT9110) along the desired surface for a clean and smooth cut. The WEN Track Saw is the perfect companion for ripping plywood, trimming doors, building furniture, and any other application needing long, precise cuts. Our powerful variable-speed motor rotates the 6.5-inch blade from 2000 to 5500 times per minute, letting you power through even the hardest of woods. Bevel the saw anywhere from -1 to 47 degrees depending on the needs of the task at hand. Set the depth gauge anywhere from 0 to 2.1 inches to control how deep the saw plunges. The 12 x 6.75-inch base features precision grooves that let the saw glide smoothly along the track. However, the saw can also exist on its own as a plunge saw, relying on its flat base for maximum stability and precision. Easily switch between three different blade settings: one for scoring cuts that go 1/8-inch deep, one for full plunge cuts, and one to simplify blade changes. The back- mounted dust port allows for attachment to your favorite dust collection system to control sawdust and limit cleanup. Simply attach your dust collection device of choice and start sawing. The dust port adapter allows the unit to still stay flush against walls, making this an ideal saw for flooring trim cuts. Compatible with the entire line of WEN 20V Max Lithium-Ion batteries (models 20202, 20204, 20205) and chargers (models 20200C, 20201Q). And, because it’s a WEN product, your WEN 10-Amp Plunge Cut Circular Track Saw comes backed by a two-year warranty, a nationwide network of skilled service technicians, and a friendly customer helpline, all to make sure you remember WEN. NOTE: requires two WEN 20V Max Li-Ion batteries for operation. A minimum of two 4Ah batteries is recommended.

  • Great plunging track saw for non-commercial use
When I say it's great for non-commercial use, that is only to say I am using it in a home workshop. I can't say how well it would hold up in a commercial shop. I've been using this saw for about a year now and have absolutely no complaints. It is well-built (even attractive in its way), accurate, reliable, a heckuva bargain (even buying the tracks along with it, this thing was less than half the price of the next closest one at the time). I gush about its awesomeness to anybody who asks and sometimes to people who very clearly have no interest. XD Today I realized I had never come back here to leave a review, so here I am. I was looking for a plunging track saw and this was basically the only one I found at the price point I was willing to go, at least until I could be sure it was even what I needed. I did follow a piece of advice I saw in the earlier reviews and ordered a Makita B-07353 165mm X 20mm Carbide Tipped Blade at the outset (which is awesome as well). As such, I don't have any experience with the stock blade that comes with it and can't attest to its quality. As a newbie to both track saws and plunge saws, it only took about twenty minutes to become completely comfortable with this saw and its functions. The projects I had lined up required a lot of interior cuts and the Wen CT1065 greatly increased both my efficiency and accuracy. I haven't touched my old circular saw since I got this. It's an absolute triumph. If you are, as I was, new to this species of saw, this is a great one to start and grow with. ... show more

  • Inexpensive, accurate, 7 1/4" is the most widely available, the most types, cheapest, and best.
Style: 7.25-Inch Variable Speed Track Saw
It's actually cheaper than the smaller version because it is better quality all the way around, and it comes with a high-quality blade that you don't need to immediately replace as with the smaller one. Replacement blades are cheaper than the smaller on and there are more types available and more likely to be locally stocked. I also went with the WEN track. It is very good and very accurate. I finished the inside of a 2 1/2 stall garage with it. ... show more

  • For the price this saw is awesome
Style: 7.25-Inch Variable Speed Track Saw
Recently purchased this 7-1/4 track saw from WEN. Now I’m not a big fan of of wen products mainly because I don’t like buying crappy cheap tools and I am definitely a Tool Junky! Wanted a track saw for many years and never bought one because most of them are so expensive and I kinda felt it was more of a luxury item. Well I had a job (stair case) recently I felt really would benefit greatly with the use of a track saw, however that same problem was looming “ the crazy cost of a track saw setup” so against my rule of buying junk for the sake of saving money (unless it’s a tool I know is going to be beat to death) I went ahead and bought this saw along with the power tech tracks. And I’m pleasantly surprised! The saw itself is actually pretty well made and solid, everything functions properly and fairly smooth too. However you can tell where the cost was cut and that’s the motor, seems pretty weak to me. It’s been a long time and I mean long time since I used a track saw which was the dewalt and I’ve used a Bosch and they feel like a regular saw power wise. This wen saw feels like there’s no option but to let it gain full speed and take your time. It does have the variable speed but I think it’s useless anything under full speed and it doesn’t wanna really cut. Now I’ve made several cuts with this saw in 3/4 ply and 2x12 cross cuts and rip cuts and it handle it pretty well. In short I believe this saw is worth the money to try out. If and when this one burns out I’ll be buying another one probably not wen but a compatible saw with my tracks. Honestly wish I had bought a track saw a decade ago. Go ahead and get it! Unless you got $600-$1200 to spend on a setup then go ahead and spend it. ... show more

  • Very happy with this track saw!
I love this track saw and have had a great experience using it. I would recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a track saw. The only slight negative I have is with the dust extraction. The louvers in the dust port cause sawdust to block up in the guard. When that happens, the saw dust starts blowing out from the blade opening and the window in the side of the tool. I opened up the guard and clipped off the louvers in the dust port and am hoping that will resolve the dust blockage. Overall though, I would consider that a minor inconvenience, and it wasn't enough to take a star off of my review. I have been breaking down plywood sheets using a cheap circular saw and various forms of edge guides for years. I've never been happy with the quality of cuts that I get with a circular saw, and I decided that it was time to pull the trigger on a track saw system. I discovered this WEN track saw and chose this tool over the much more expensive options on the market. I really am impressed with the build quality on this saw. The blade guard and base are die cast aluminum and the whole system feels very sturdy and secure. The adjustment knobs are plastic, but they don't feel weak or flimsy when using it or making adjustments. Using the tool, I haven't experienced any flex or play in the system. The structure and feel in the hand is very sturdy. I ordered the Powertec tracks with this saw, and this saw was easy to dial in to the tracks, and I've had no issues getting smooth sliding without play. At this point, I have left the anti-kickback cam in place, and it hasn't caused me any issues with smooth operation. I know others have said it has caused them issues, but I haven't experienced that with my saw. The cut quality on this saw has been excellent. I am using the stock blade, and when cutting plywood sheets, I got clean and accurate cuts without issue. I used the scoring feature to make an initial pass, and then followed through with a full depth cut. Using that method, I got clean cuts with minimal to no blow-out during cross cuts. I was also pleasantly surprised with how quiet and smooth this saw is during operation. It is noticeably quieter than my old circular saw, and there was very little vibration or harshness in the feel of the tool while using it. Overall, I am very happy with this saw. I think it is performing like a higher cost saw. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a track saw. I am very happy with mine. ... show more
