For a simple piece of shoe shining equipment, it is what it is - easy to use and the result is good for the dough. The only downside is, not as durable as you'll want it to be (some lint starts flying off the working surface almost as soon as you start using it).     • There’s got to be a better way.
Typical shoe buffer. Slab of wood, small thin sponge like shock absorber buffing fur weakly attached on both ends. This is the same design every time, no matter the brand and they all fall apart eventually. The shock absorber starts sliding out or the buffer come off on one end.     • Poor quality; synthetic wool comes off all over the place.
Headline says it all. Bought and returned. You'd be better off just buffing w/ a soft cloth. Seems this is the only buffer everybody is selling on line, Walmart, Ebay, etc. Anyone found a better one? I plan to shop at a shoe repair shop and see what they have for sale.
