This is the best rug beauty wise that I have purchased at this price point from Amazon hands down. I’m shocked none of the reviews mentioned the strong smell of chemicals. We tried to air it out in a bedroom with door closed window open and fan on and gave us all a headache. It’s been outside almost 2 days and I’m leaving it in our Florida room with a ceiling fan on- windows open and a heavy duty floor fan on it- I have three toddlers so it’s not coming in until this airs out completely. I can’t function with chemical headaches- I super excited. The rug came early! It was packaged very well no rips or tears. This is truly a lovely item! I’m just not sure if I should wash it or what. I’ve never had a rug smell this strong. Maybe I’ve never had a brand new one that no one returned before?? Any tips?? ... show more

This is my third carpet and I'm at the end with these rugs. All of them turn up horribly and bubble all around the middle. I saw an influencer put ice and weights and I did that for the first one and after about 5-7 days it worked. 6 weeks now and the corners are turning up. the one under my bed, can't put weights around it though I did for 1.5 days, then taped it. Every day I have to step on the tape and corners to keeps it down. very frustrated. Now in the living room and once again, I sit here with ice and weights. These rugs are not a "lay down and be done". No, they are not safe to walk around for at least 4-7 days. I would read reviews and be educated before buying these rugs. ... show more

I like the pattern and the way it hides stains. I use this under our kitchen table. Just what I was looking for especially with kids. The only downside is fraying on the edges. The area rug delivery was earlier than expected, and UPS was wonderful. It's best if you have someone to help roll it out and position under furniture, as this was tough for me but very satisfying that I could manage anyway. It's beautiful, and covered up a really ugly carpet that I can't replace right now, so this area rug is perfect until maybe I am able to replace my flooring. If I do replace the flooring in the dining room someday, I'll just use my new area rug in my living room. ... show more

rug is great EXCEPT there are some sides that won't lay flat even after days of placing super heavy items on it. Depending on your placement, this is a fall risk. I have had to tape it all down and its fine but now its not easy to remove to clean around or under it.
