I bought this for my 6 year old and she's loved it so far. The setup is very easy, only a total of 6 bolts to install, easy to do within a few minutes, be sure to pay attention to the instructions as the point out the bars, while they look very similar do matter which way you install them. Otherwise, setup was a breeze. It's very sturdy on our mat. I wish it was a bit wider (or I guess the mat a bit thinner) to fit it directly under versus putting the entire bar set on top of the mat, but that is really nitpicky. It is very stable on top of the mat and has middle feet that you can lower to the mat level which adds additional stability. My daughter has no problem adjusting the bars up and down, though it is easier with two people just as they can click in place. That being said, she's done it a number of times herself. Overall, seems like a great product at a great price.

The media could not be loaded. This is the winner of all the presents this year. Forget the bubble machine, forget the bouncy dinosaur, this thing is the bees knees. At first I almost told my wife no, I just couldn't imagine that it would be stable. She convinced me to try and we ordered a tumble mat as well. Once we set it up, AWESOME for PLAY. We do not extend the bar all the way up, so I cant speak to fully extension stability, but me and my kids use it to be little monkeys and swing around without a concern in the world. Its also big and stable enough we can hook the toddler swing to it. At the lowest setting, my two and four year olds are able to easily have a blast. Next height up (displayed in video) my eight year old is practicing to be batman. At any given time, all 4 kids may be in various stages of climbing or swinging on this thing, and it's holding up just fine. As a 43 year old rad dad, I felt obligated to test it to make sure it was safe for the kids. At 5'11 and 154lbs, in the second height setting I can whip around on this thing without a concern. Bar movement itself is minimal. The underlying matt we have on the carpet causes way more instability than anything with the bar itself. In my posted video, on the second and third swing I was really applying force to flip myself around. Folds up into a somewhat slim footprint, for us it's just the right size that the tumble mat rests inside of it and folded up against the wall. The support legs keep this from fitting under a bed and may be awkward in a closet. Somewhat easy to adjust the bar height, it uses pull spring knobs to allow raising and lowering. The kids have a little trouble with it, but adults shouldn't have a problem and it doesn't require any force. People may say the bar gets slippery. Yep, it's a metal bar with sticky and sweaty hands all over it. Either start using chalk like a gymnast or understand that's what happens and use a towel or something to wipe it down.

Overall I have to say I like this product. This was bought for my 3 year old who has a ton of enthusiasm for gymnastics now that she has had a couple of months into one of our local programs. Her 5 year old brother at times even chimes in and joins her with some drills we have her run to have her improve. Now to focus more on the product. So far I can say, meanwhile it is on a flat surface it will perform as you probably will expect it to. We have only tried it on carpet though and it does really good. We do use the yoga mat it comes with. I must say, I am not quite thrilled by the mat mainly because it hardly provides any impact support. It's a yoga mat, thin. But the fact it comes with one could ease off any concern over hard floor considering this can easily fit under the bar set up and don't worry, it has a decent space outside of the immediate area as well similar to the picture. The assembly was really simple even my 5 year old was able to put it together with some guidance therefore don't fear assembly. The height adjustment has been great, although my daughter is a bit short, we've been able to make it work with the lowest setting and getting an additional step to help her reach. It also came with an addition support wrap to make it more comfortable resting on the bar and it should helps when learning to flip. Putting it way also has worked out for us living in 750 sq ft. For expanding as far as it does, it does collapse pretty decently thin in comparison. Helps with saving space when we put it away. For the price we paid, I'd say it's worth it.

This is the second one of this bar we have received. The first lasted five years and is still usable. This version is an upgrade with felt on the bottom of the rounds that sturdy the piece, a foam cushion on the bar and great pull pins. It yook me five minutes to put together and it looks great. One screw was missing from the pack but easily replaced it with a screw from the old bar. My daughter loves it and it feels quite sturdy. It’s a great way to keep her flexible and exercising on days where we are in the house. If this one lasts another five years I wouldn’t be surprised

My 7 yr old is doing flips and hanging going in circles and just absolutely loves this bar and it was super easy to set up comes with the tool you need and slides up for easy storage and shipped super fast I’ll say the only thing was now there 6 bubble wrap sleeves that she won’t let me throw out 100% recommend if you have a gymnastics kid

We bought this for our children to allow them to play and build their hand strength when the winter months prevent us from using our local play grounds. The height adjustment goes low enough that a 2 year old can hang from it by just lifting their legs. It is very sturdy, and both of our children play on it at the same time. We highly recommend using a cushion/mat underneath it. A mat isn't included with the bars, but since this bar is meant for children, you will want some protection for them when they are practicing with it.
