Buying a carpet online is awful. I took a chance on this one and was pleasantly surprised by how soft it is. There is a bit of an odor upon unrolling but it went away quickly. It laid flat right away.

We bought the rug for the entryway. It looked nice in the beginning until we started to walk on it. We take off our shoes and change to slippers when entering the house. The ends of the woven cotton loops come out easily. It looks like heck. I've been trying to tuck in the threads. I may even try gluing the ends in to help them stay put. I can't imagine letting pets walk on the rug. It will be shredded in no time. ... show more

It is very beautiful and well made, soft and nice to walk on, I wish they had larger sizes. As matter of fact, I am watching the site if they have the larger ones available, (currently they don’t) to get another one. You shall not be disappointed, my neighbor saw it and immediately wanted one, she even asked me to buy it from me :) Update: I bought another one larger, but it is not like the small one, this large one smells, because it’s bigger, and probably stayed in the warehouse longer, it doesn’t really Matter… the smell will disappear in a few days.. I Hope. I shall give another update in a few days to see and let you all know, if the smell dissipates. Final Update: No more Smell. It took 4 days to be free from from packed in plastic bag smell. It’s all good now. The real final, final Update: I slept in the room for 6 days straight, the Smell was still there it’s been 6 months now since I bought it. I can’t sleep with that smell, I’m going put it out site on the patio, weather probably will ruin it. I won’t buy an another. ... show more

I’m very impressed with this rug. I wanted the layering effect and didn’t want to fork over pottery barn prices for a rug that would mostly be covered by another rug. After a long search I bought this one. I totally intended to be disappointed, but I’m actually very impressed. It’s a beautiful natural color. It’s well made and isn’t falling apart.
