It melts like butter and soaks into the skin very quickly, leaving it moisturized and soft. I struggle with dry skin and have a whole cabinet with moisture intense lotions. Some work better than others. But this! This smells amazing and actually works very well! I use as soon as I get out of shower and lock in the moisture with this. It’s not heavy and cakey but not thin either. Hard to explain. I am using this on extremely dry skin on my hands and so far it feels satiny and my skin isn't hurting anymore. I usually do not like smells like vanilla and things like that, but reading the reviews i decided to try a small container. I LOVE the smell of this. It's not overpowering and it isn't one of those smells that 'gets in your throat'. If you know what I mean then you get it (happens to me with smells like vanilla & maple).
