Six dollars a day for ice!
When this ice maker arrived on May 20th, it worked flawlessly. About a week ago, I noticed that the ice was backing up in the chute. The machine said it was full when it was only about half full. Running the clean cycle didn't change anything. This morning, June 28th, it completely quit making ice. 39 Days of ice for $235.39. Six dollars a day for ice. Do NOT buy this ice machine!

Ice is amazing but it keeps melting!
Watch my entire video with sound on. The ice is amazing. Soft and chewable perfect ice. However!!!! the machine bin is made very poorly. It does not keep the ice cold, therefore it melts so quick . The indicator for the ice being “ full” turns on prematurely because the ice cones up and gets stuck at the topin indicating that the ice has finished, but it’s only halfway full. And by that time, it’s already halfway melted because the bin is made of plastic.

Runs a long time for the few tiny bite cubes
It works. The ice is nugget-sized. Imagine biting down on a small gold nugget. Molar size they are. I literally eat crushed ice from a cup at times. This is do different. But it’s so slow at making the tiny nuggets. Roughly a cup per 20 minutes. If you bag and freeze, be prepared to break them apart like you do with store bags of ice, using w/e metal meat tenderizer, ice hammer etc. The nuggets are wet and will meld together in the freezer. Gonna get a metal meat tenderizer hammer just for this and cease using my hand tools. Opened the box too late as I did consider returning in hopes of finding an energy efficient type, as I’m sure my electric utility is noticing the energy usage. I run it every couple of days and freezer the nuggets. Moderate noise like a table ice cream machine. It’ll run a hour easily just to fill the bucket. Cute box, aesthetic stainless appearance with black easy touch panel, easy access top, tray removal. Generates moderate heat during use. No added taste to nuggets. Good water in, good taste coming out. Self cleaning basically flushes pathways using the water you put in. Drain hose on the rear or cube and toss the rinse water.

Good ice machine
This is exactly what I needed it to be. It makes a tray of ice in about 30-40 minutes. As long as you follow the instructions and clean it a couple times first then start using the ice, it tastes great. No issues with operation and as long as you use the ice it keeps making it. I use a lot of ice so this is helpful for me and my family.

It’s an ok ice maker
It’s an ok ice maker. I don’t feel like it keeps the ice cold enough so it melts really fast. The ice bin is also not that big. I don’t hate it, but I also don’t love it.
