We bought this because we frequently stay in hard water areas. Mineral build-up damaged our water heater brass mixing valve. Hope this will slow down future issues and as a bonus it reduces itchy skin from hard water. Comes with extra fittings for different connectors. **Edit** I have been using this, as I said, from the 29th of November and am just now needing to regenerate it. Granted, it is only me in my trailer, but I use a normal amount of water, even doing wash in a portable machine, so about 12 gallons every couple of weeks, along with showers and dishes, and the toilet. I think that’s an excellent amount of soft water for that long of a period, nearly three months! I am even more impressed now. *** This is working well. I have had it hooked up to my travel trailer system since the 29th of November and am still getting soft, soft water. On the hardness scale, it is still down at the lowest, nearly green, which is the least hard water. I did have another brand before this but that one leaked after a couple of years of use. So far this one is perfect, was easy to install and has no leaks at all. I don’t mind drinking the soft water and really don’t have a choice since there is only one input. (I don’t buy water) I honestly don’t think it’s bad tasting at all, in fact it’s better tasting than the soft water at home. I did hook two different filter systems up between this and the source since the water where I winter is horribly sandy and very, very hard. The filters help keep this running free and clear. I use much less detergent when doing clothes and less shampoo too. My skin looks better and hair is great with the softened water. I haven’t yet had to regenerate, so if anything changes I will update my review. I’m very happy with this purchase! ... show more

I’m happy with the performance of this softener. The first one I installed leaked. I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement. The second one works flawlessly. I would recommend this softener. Customer service is very good

Product arrived well packages and undamaged. Easy installation and included everything for the installation, even the Teflon tape. Using in Arizona which is known for its hard water. Waited about four hours and them used a test strip to test the water in my motorhome. Perfect!!!

Writing this after a week of operation. Pros: Comes well packed with all hardware needed for different applications. I ran mine off the water regulator with the single shut off valve at the inlet side of the unit. Short hose to rv inlet and used included quick connect attachments. Directions are complete and easy to follow. Had soft water within the hour. So far very pleased with this and is much cheaper than competition. Only con is it doesn't come with test strips. After first regeneration, the quick links leaked. Seller was excellent in their response and replaced them. Great customer service. ... show more
