I don't normally get on and write many reviews. But since I'm awake at 2 am again and this is the 5th night I've tried to sleep on this mattress topper. I'm thinking why not help someone out there with my opinion trying to decide whether or not this one is worth the money and hassle. I'm a side sleeper and my shoulder is just a constant ache with this mattress topper. Yesterday morning after I managed to fall asleep on this mattress topper I woke up with a huge migraine I'm going to call it that because it was definitely debilitating I wouldn't wish that migraine on my crappie neighbor, oh Okay maybe I would my neighbor, just kidding lol. And I'm awake again taking more excedrin hoping the headache I have at the moment doesn't get worse. Anyways me and my husband read the reviews and thought well what do we have to loose let's try it out hmmm. How many nights do you want to wake up and think well if I'm going to hurt this bad I might as well sleep on the couch so I can watch TV. This is my 5th mattress topper I've purchased from Amazon and the only way it's getting easier to pick the next one is because we have tried 5 others ugh. So the only person who is better off besides the seller of this sorry excuse for a mattress topper is my chiropractor certainly not me. So like with anything else in life there will be a differing of opinions so I hope this helps with your decision. Took less than 6 hours to fully open up (company said 48hrs) and I was very happy. Slight odor but in 24 hrs the odor is gone. Very very comfortable. The cover included comes already on the topper. The zipper for the cover does not have a zipper pull. Intentional? Poor quality control? IDK but a paper clip or safety pin will work when/if we need to remove the cover. Side sleeper heaven. Highly recommend. -1 star for the zipper pull missing and the odor. ... show more

My wife and I bought a new bed mattress and was a bit on the firm side, we had the 30 break in period before we could return it for a softer one, to our surprise the softer mattress was $400 more, so I got to looking into a what a decent 2" topper would cost. I read the reviews and this one seemed well liked and for less than half I figured I would give it a try. WOW this topper is AMAZINGI love that it has its own cover side straps to keep it in place. The first night sleep, I was dead to the world, drool off lip out. I think the 3" would be a bit much imo but the 2" was perfect for our needs. Also the idea that if the new mattress ever "broken in" and suddenly became softer the topper could be removed and we are still good to go. Not sure I want that to happen though :) ... show more

This comes with a huge crease on the center that doesn't go away easily. (I'm still trying to massage it out) It's been 10 days now and the amount of fluffing up isn't 4 inches and it's not consistent through all the mattress foam. All the edges around are still really thin like when it was pulled out of the box. My bed has a big mound in the center that I try to sleep on, to flatten it out, but in the morning, I wake up to see that I've rolled down to the flat edges. Normally, I never move position in bed, so I know it's the crease on the bed. I wish I would've read the reviews before purchasing. Most reviews that I have read on this product are accurate and it was also missing the zipper latch, not sure if it's on purpose. I place all blame on myself and from what I have read you have to send it back in the original box. I don't have the patience to go through all that, I rather just take it as a loss and keep trying to flatten it out. The last picture is the most current after all the massaging and you could still notice it even with all the bed sheets and comforter. Short review: Buy it. Details: I'm a heavy guy, 6'3" and #280. At first, I thought this mattress topper was too soft, but I got used to it in about a week. I felt like my trunk sunk in a little too far and it was hard to roll over. Heavier sleepers might opt for the 3" version (I bought the 4"). I'm super happy with it after about 6 weeks. I looked at more commonly reviewed brands (Sleepnight, ViscoSoft, LinenSpa), but if you go to the Amazon reviews for these products and click "show all customer images," you'll see that denting and cracking are common. 1st ATTEMPT: After waiting over 3 weeks out of the box, this matress never expanded. You can see by the picture I attached that the center of it, we're they folded it for shipping is the only part that is 4 inches thick. Since it was purchased through Amazon, the manufacturer couldn't help me. They pushed me back to Amazon. So I'll try getting a replacement through them.
