Love this little freezer! If I'd had space for a larger one, I would have bought it, but this fits nicely into the limited space I do have. Energy efficiency and the low cost of running the freezer were major considerations in my choosing this particular one, and it seems to do well on both counts. I had two goals I hoped to meet by getting a freezer. The first was to alleviate the guilt I felt if I used too much of the refrigerator freezer when my housemate, someone who lives by fast food and freezer alone, needed all the room she could get. My second goal was to take advantage of the weekly grocery sales. I hated missing out because there wasn't enough room in the freezer for that cherry pie or whatever. And although I might have crammed more into a chest freezer, the items at the bottom would likely have remained there until dug up by some archeologist far in the future. By contrast, my upright freezer allows easy access. I'm very happy with my purchase -- in case you couldn't tell.

A good solid 4-1/2+ stars for this mini freezer and seller. I spent hours looking at different small freezers and decided I liked this one the best with the baffles in front of each shelf. The seller gave me the $30 discount even though I missed it by a day when I ordered. Fed-Ex delivery wasn't so good -- left it waaaay out by our gate on it's side, even though the box clearly states to keep it upright. Loaded it in my car and lugged it into the house (I'm a senior female), unpacked and was apprehensive about dings, dents, not starting when plugged in....NOPE....it all worked perfectly. However, there is one thing I would like to point out....it slides really easily on a wood kitchen floor. The seal is so tight, when I open the door, I have to hold the top of the freezer in place, or else it just slides towards me. I'm going to put a rubber mat under it to see if it'll stay in place. Started it on 2 on the controller....the ice cream is frozen solid, so turned it down to 1-1/2 'cause I couldn't get a spoon in ice cream carton to get any out. Once out of the packing carton, it wasn't hard at all to change the door opening from one side to the other and not nearly as heavy as I expected, just hard to get a hold of when getting into the house. Well packed with styrofoam and I think of all the mini-freezers (there must be at least 30 on Amazon), this was the best value. The only other thing I can mention is it runs really quietly, but when the compressor starts, there is a tiny "click" which at first I thought it was a faucet drip in my metal sink. Sounds just like that, but not obnoxious. My regular "older" frig/freezer makes more noise when running than this mini-freezer, but it doesn't have the little "click". Now that the freezer is full and at temperature (I have a gauge inside and it's set at "0"), it doesn't run as much, so the little click is hardly noticeable. I recommend this mini-freezer and the seller, who was very prompt in refunding the $30 discount.

Very useful. This freezer helps me to save money by being able to stock up on more essentials than fit in my main freezer. It is easy to organize with the compartments. The freezer fits under my counter. The temperature control dial is in the inner front. The only issue I have is I can't adjust the feet like advertised and it makes more noise at an angle. I think the feet are adjustable, just not easily, so I have been propping one of the feet up until I can get help.
