I tried to buy this exact frame (and others) on AliExpress. It would have cost A LOT less overall. Unfortunately they never have the product in stock like they claim, never ship it, and I waste all my time waiting for nothing to happen and get a refund. So as much as I am not a huge Amazon fan, I knew if I bought it they would ship it and are reliable. I also knew if any manufacturing issues existed (like missing hardware, incorrect screw holes) that I could probably return it easily from a nearby shipping location (like my nearest Kohl's). I am glad I bought this bed frame. Overall the assembly was easy with only minor issue. One of the brackets that hold the support bars was a bit too tight. I eventually tapped the support bar with a rubber mallet. That tap caused the bar to slide in a smidgen and then it was super easy for the support bar to then fit. It probably was off by a millimeter or two (for those who don't know, that's a very tiny amount). I have yet to sleep on it because I haven't bought a mattress because I wanted to make sure the frame worked first and not get stuck with a mattress and no bed frame. But I think it should work fine when the time comes. The lowest support bar on the headboard is about 6 inches away from the top of the platform and support bars. I can probably get away with a 6 inch mattress without it sliding around. But I will buy a 7 (if they exist) or an 8 inch high mattress to ensure no sliding occurs. I also thought I could wrap a soft plastic hook bungee cord around the headboard / bars to keep it from sliding if my future mattress is too low in height. But an 8 inch mattress or higher should definitely work. I specifically bought this frame because I wanted something affordable, sturdy, could hold a lot of weight if I start dating someone large, and that had a headboard and footboard to keep the mattress from sliding off like my old bed frame / mattress did. The pillows would constantly fall off and behind the bed because the bed would shift around. Even if this bed frame shifts (which I haven't tried it yet to know), the mattress, pillows, and sheets should stay on the bed. Also there is a foam sticker running down the middle support bar so that the support slat bars above it don't scratch with metal against metal friction and should keep the bed quiet. Very good. I know this is a ridiculously long review. But hopefully it answers some questions and concerns people might have. I am happy that I gave this bed frame a try and it looks just as nice as the pictures. ... show more

Great bed frame for the price I’m really happy with this bed frame. It was fairly easy to put together and everything I needed was included. Once assembled, it feels sturdy and secure, and I really like having the extra space underneath for storage. The headboard gives it a nice finished look without making the room feel too bulky. The mattress fits well and I like that no box spring is needed. It is a little bit squeaky but not too bad. Overall, it’s a great value for the price and looks more expensive than it actually is. This bed frame is incredible! The instructions were extremely clear, and all pieces came in the box as expected. My old frame used to squeak when I so much as sat on it, and this frame solved that! I could jump on it and it would stay completely silent. Putting it together took less than an hour, but do keep in mind that all the screws require an alan wrench. A flathead screwdriver is okay for initial screwing, but an alan wrench is 100% necessary to tighten it completely. This frame is a cute, cheap option that will treat you right! I like everyone else relies on reviews when buying something, which is why I felt compelled to write one in this bed frame. I knew there was going to be a problem when I was assembling the headboard and the interior where the bolts go into stripped immediately. Luckily, I had a pack of bolts and was able to use a larger one to finish putting it together. Then, the support bars at the end, front and middle of the frame were way too wide. I literally had to twist and pound them into place. The major issue is the center of the frame. It’s almost like the it bowed up in the middle , and the legs are won’t touch the floor. I tried adjusting the center bar, but no matter what I did when the screws were tightened, It caused the legs to come up off the floor. I currently have a small block of wood under the legs to try and make it work. I wish I never threw out my old bedframe. Amazon did refund me. I do think it’s important, however that the maker of the product be held accountable for faulty equipment. In my opinion I would stay away from this bed frame. There are many others to choose from that would have been a better choice. ... show more

The bed frame itself is nice once put together. I am taking off a star because it was impossible to put together because the holes weren’t in the right spots! I had to call a handyman who came and re-drilled holes. So just be aware you’ll need power tools to get it to fit correctly.

Well-made sturdy bed frame and looks great. Very easy to put together with tool provided - NO missing or damaged parts. Great under-bed storage space (12" high). I purchased this for a spare bedroom with a FULL-SIZE mattress (no box spring needed). After reading some of the reviews, I will address a couple of issues some people complained about: One person complained about the fact that the bolts were "silver" (yes, they are metal) so it looked bad. I purchased the WHITE bed frame and just sprayed the TOPS ONLY of the bolts/washers with white quick-drying enamel paint (which I just happen to have on hand) BEFORE installing them. Others complained about the mattress sliding around on the frame. YES, it does slide around from side-to-side a little bit (depending on the mattress you have), but I easily fixed this by laying down a rubberized waffle rug padding (that I also happen to have on hand) between the frame and the mattress - problem solved!! Some complained that the instructions had no "words"...just pictures of how to install. I found the instructions just fine and very easy to visualize each installation step. Other than these issues that some people complained about, I have nothing bad to say about this bed frame, as they are very easily solved. A nice inexpensive quality frame for a spare room, kid's room, etc. Based on the quality of the materials, I expect this to last for a long time. If for some reason it fails down the line, I will definitely re-post my review. ... show more
